Abstract

Leadership is the process of directing and giving influence to group members who are interconnected with the same task. A good leader who can apply leadership skills that are appropriate to the work situation they will face can certainly motivate their employees to work as optimally as possible, this can make employee performance better. This research is located at the Cigugur Tengah Subdistrict Office, Cimahi City. This research was conducted to determine the role of interpersonal roles, decision making, informational roles in improving employee performance. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The resource persons for this research were the Secretary of Cigugur Tengah Subdistrict and the employees of Cigugur Tengah Subdistrict. The data analysis carried out is data reduction, data presentation and finally drawing conclusions. The leadership role is an important role that influences improving employee performance at the Cigugur Tengah Subdistrict Office. There are several other factors that will improve employee performance, such as honesty, time discipline, accuracy in completing tasks, ability to work together and willingness to learn.

Abstract

Untuk operasi dan pelayanan di level desa, kualitas sumber daya manusia sangat penting. Studi ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana peran kualitas SDM memengaruhi kinerja karyawan di Kantor Desa Singajaya, yang terletak di Kecamatan Cihampelas, Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Studi ini menganalisis kualitas SDM terhadap efisiensi operasional dan kinerja karyawan di kantor. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kualitas SDM sangat berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas, layanan publik, dan efisiensi operasional. Namun, masalah kualitas sumber daya manusia termasuk keterbatasan akses ke pendidikan formal dan pendidikan lanjutan. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan dan efektivitas secara keseluruhan di Kantor Desa Singajaya, sangat penting untuk mengembangkan sumber daya manusia yang terampil, berpengetahuan luas, dan sangat berdedikasi. Hasil ini memberikan fondasi untuk kebijakan dan strategi operasional yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia pada gilirannya akan menghasilkan peningkatan kinerja karyawan dan pelayanan di tingkat desa. Kata Kunci : Kualitas sumber daya manusia, kinerja karyawan, kantor desa Singajaya.

Abstract

This study examines the significant role of cash waqf in financing renewable energy projects for sustainable Islamic economic development. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research collects data through case analysis of Islamic social finance institutions involved in renewable energy funding, along with interviews with key informants such as waqf managers and Islamic finance practitioners. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify recurring patterns and key themes related to cash waqf’s application in renewable energy projects. The findings show that cash waqf offers a more sustainable funding model compared to conventional charity. By preserving the principal and only utilizing the income, cash waqf provides long-term resources for clean energy projects. The study also highlights cash waqf’s advantages in terms of accountability and transparency, as waqf institutions are required to provide auditable financial reports. In contrast, conventional charity is often short-term and lacks structured oversight, making cash waqf a more efficient model for financing ongoing projects like renewable energy. The research also identifies challenges in implementing cash waqf, such as regulatory issues and lack of awareness. However, there are significant opportunities to address these challenges through collaborations with Islamic banks and sustainable financial institutions. This study proposes integrating cash waqf with Islamic finance principles and ESG criteria to increase its impact on renewable energy projects. With appropriate regulation and increased awareness, cash waqf can play a crucial role in driving the transition to a sustainable green economy.
