Abstract

. Reward and punishment are very important in motivating nurse performance, because through reward and punishment nurses will become more qualified and responsible for the tasks given. This study aims to determine the relationship between reward and punishment and the work motivation of inpatient nurses at Bakti Timah Karimun Hospital. This research uses quantitative research using a correlational descriptive design and a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were all inpatient nurses at Bakti Timah Karimun Hospital, namely 59 nurses. The sampling technique used total sampling where sample selection was carried out by determining all 59 subjects who met the research criteria. The method used in collecting data was by filling out questionnaires by respondents. Data analysis uses univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. The results of the research show that the reward frequency distribution is mostly in the high category at 54.24%, the frequency of punishment in the high category is 55.93%, the frequency of motivation in the high category of nurses is 50.85%. It is hoped that nurses will increase their knowledge about the applicable reward and punishment system through seminars/socialization in order to increase work motivation and control behavior that can reduce the effectiveness of nurses' performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to compare mathematics learning outcomes between classes using a conventional approach and those implementing ice breaking activities for sixth-grade students at SDN 4 Tengguli in the 2024-2025 academic year. The research method employed was quantitative with a comparative approach. Data were collected through a 15-item learning learning outcome test instruments and analyzed using a t-test. The results showed that the average score of the conventional class was 7.36, while the ice breaking class averaged 6.88. Statistical analysis yielded a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.651 (> 0.05), indicating no significant difference between the two approaches. Thus, it can be concluded that ice breaking does not significantly enhance mathematics learning outcomes compared to conventional methods. These findings suggest that other factors, such as teaching strategies, student motivation, or learning environment, should be considered to improve the effectiveness of mathematics instruction. Keyword: Conventional Approach, Ice Breaking Activities, Mathtematics Learning Outcome, ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil belajar matematika antara kelas yang menggunakan pendekatan konvensional dan kelas yang menerapkan kegiatan ice breaking pada siswa kelas VI SDN 4 Tengguli tahun pelajaran 2024-2025. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan komparatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen tes hasil belajar sebanyak 15 soal, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kelas konvensional adalah 7,36, sedangkan kelas ice breaking adalah 6,88. Berdasarkan uji statistik, diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,651 (> 0,05), yang mengindikasikan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan signifikan antara kedua pendekatan tersebut. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan ice breaking tidak secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika dibandingkan dengan pendekatan konvensional. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bahwa faktor lain seperti strategi pembelajaran, motivasi siswa, atau lingkungan belajar perlu dipertimbangkan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran matematika Kata Kunci: Pendekatan Konvensional, Ice Breaking, Hasil Belajar Matematika

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the political marketing strategies employed by the candidate pair Lis Darmansyah and Raja Ariza in the 2024 Tanjungpinang Mayor Election. The research focuses on the implementation of the political marketing mix, which includes political products, promotion, pricing, and distribution strategies. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through interviews, field observations, and documentation involving campaign teams, volunteers, and voters. The findings demonstrate that Lis Darmansyah and Raja Ariza's political marketing strategy primarily depends on social interaction and personal image creation through the use of social media platforms, in- person campaigns, and local volunteer networks. The secret to winning over voters is their attempt to present an image of inclusive and seasoned leadership. However, the public's opinion of previous political performance and fierce electoral competition present obstacles for the campaign. In conclusion, the capacity of candidates to gain the public's trust and modify their political messaging to fit the social and cultural dynamics of Tanjungpinang community is a major factor in the efficacy of political marketing techniques.
