Abstract

Agriculture is an inseperable part of human life, agriculture is an activity of utilizibg biological resources carried out by humans to produce food, industrial raw materials or energy of energy sources, and manage their environment, while agricultura bussinises actors called farmer™s, in helping farmer™s to overcome problems in conducting farming and help improve the welfare o farmer™s, the gonverment formed a farmer group organization which is under the auspices of the agricultural service. The purpose of this analysis is to find out the rol of the Danau Sepakat farmer group towards members in Jorong Ujung Ladang, Nagari Koto Sani, Kecematan X Koto Singkarak. The approach with descriptive research type, the techniques used in this research are observation, interviews, and document study. The informants in this study were the administrators of the Danau Sepakat  farmer group, members of the  Danau Sepakat farmer group, and Mr. Jorong Ujung Ladang, Nagari Koto Sani. Based on the result of field analysis it can be concluded that the lake concluded that the Danau Sepakat farmer group had an effect on members including in the form of 1. Increasing the knowledge og group members farming, 2. Reducing member™s capital in conducting farming, 3. Inreasing farmer™s income, 4. Reducing abandoned land.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that student learning success is always a problem in every subject, especially sociology in class XI IPS at SMAN 2 Solok Selatan, so that teachers must have other learning models that encourage students to work collaboratively in achieving learning goals. The purpose of this study was to identify the constraints and solutions faced by teachers in applying the make a match type of cooperative learning model in sociology class XI IPS at SMAN 2 Solok Selatan. The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, with a total of 6 informants which was carried out by means of purposive sampling. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data with data collection methods: observation, interviews and document study. Meanwhile, data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and document studies. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions.  The results showed that the teacher's constraints in applying the make a match type cooperative learning model in sociology class XI IPS at SMAN 2 Solok Selatan were difficulties in controlling the class, low student motivation, less effective time management and lack of workshops on learning models . As for the solutions made to overcome these obstacles, namely conditioning the class well so that the class atmosphere is not noisy, designing cooperative learning model activities of the make a match type, setting lesson time limits and attending workshops specifically for teachers.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of learning facilities and infrastructure at SMP N 9, Sungai Sembilan District, Dumai City. This research aims to analyze the obstacles and efforts made by the principal in overcoming the limited learning facilities and infrastructure at SMP N 9, Sungai Sembilan District, Kota. Dumai. The limitations of existing learning facilities can affect the effectiveness of the learning process and the achievement of student learning outcomes. The theory used is the Leadership Theory put forward by James MacGregor Burns which is known as transformational leadership theory, which is a conceptual framework that describes the role of leaders in organizations or groups. The method used in this research uses an approach, namely a descriptive qualitative research approach, which involved school principals, teachers, students and parents as informants. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data, while data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation and document analysis. The data analysis technique used is the Huberman model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The results of the research show that the availability of facilities and infrastructure at SMP N 9, Sungai Sembilan District, Dumai City can be said to be inadequate, causing teaching and learning conditions to be less than optimal. The obstacles and efforts of the school principal in overcoming the limited learning facilities and infrastructure at SMP N 9 Kec Sungai Sembilan, Dumai City are obstacles ranging from limited funds, teaching materials, limited human resources and limited educational staff, and school location obstacles. Meanwhile, the efforts made by the school principal to overcome limited learning facilities and infrastructure include planning additional classrooms by the school principal, seeking additional funds and maintaining facilities and infrastructure.
