Abstract

Abstrak Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat merupakan salah satu Kabupaten di Provinsi Lampung yang memiliki luas 127.619 Ha dengan memiliki 9 Kecamatan di mana kebutuhan air di setiap tahunnya semakin meningkat. Penelitian ini menganalisis ketersediaan dan kebutuhan air domestic dan non domestic Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat untuk 20 tahun mendatang dimulai dari tahun 2024 hingga tahun proyeksi 2044. Metode penelitian menggunakan Analisa ketersediaan air, kebutuhan air, dan daya dukung air. Hasil Analisa yang dilakukan mendapatkan ketersediaan air bersih di Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat sebesar 4.217.642.254.194 L/tahun dengan total kebutuhan air domestik dan non domestik sebesar 18.134.612.550 L/tahun dengan daya dukung air sebesar 4.199.507.641.647 L/tahun dengan status surplus, proyeksi daya dukung air untuk 20 tahun mendatang didapatkan kebutuhan air setiap tahun meningkat disebabkan oleh pertumbuhan penduduk yang mengalami pertumbuhan tiap tahunnya dan pembangunan di berbagai bidang dengan total sampai tahun 2044 sebesar 498.563.452.800 L/tahun dengan status surplus, oleh karena itu Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat perlu melakukan reboisasi dan penghijauan pada area pemukiman, membangun waduk di area yang berpotensial mengalami kekeringan dan memelihara rehabilitasi konservasi tanah dan air. Kata kunci:  Ketersediaan air, kebutuhan air, daya dukung air, neraca air, Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat Abstract West Tulang Bawang Regency is one of the regencies in Lampung Province which has an area of 127,619 Ha with 9 sub-districts where the need for water increases every year. This study analyzes the availability and demand for domestic and non-domestic water in West Tulang Bawang Regency for the next 20 years starting from 2024 to the projection year 2044. The research method uses analysis of water availability, water demand, and water carrying capacity. The results of the analysis obtained the availability of clean water in West Tulang Bawang Regency amounting to 4,217,642,254,194 L/year with a total domestic and non-domestic water demand of 18,134,612,550 L/year with a water carrying capacity of 4,199,507,641. 647 L/year with surplus status, the projection of water carrying capacity for the next 20 years obtained water demand increases every year due to population growth which experiences growth every year and development in various fields with a total until 2044 of 498,563,452,800 L/year with surplus status. Therefore, West Tulang Bawang Regency needs to reforest and reforest in residential areas, build reservoirs in areas that have the potential to experience drought and maintain soil and water conservation rehabilitation. Key words:  Water availability, water demand, water carrying capacity, water balance, West Tulang Bawang District

Abstract

The soft clay soil has expansive behavior that expands when exposed to water, this will be very dangerous to the construction to be built on it, because clay soil generally has a low shear strength and high compressibility. To know the parameters and characteristics of strong clay soil shear in an area, can use vane shear test and direct shear test. The soil samples were taken from Jabung, East Lampung for testing laboratory modeling on glass box with vane shear and direct shear tools with a weight of  ± 130,730 grOn the direct shear tests when soil conditions remolded at a depth of 30 cm shear strength values obtained at 0.0743 kg/cm2, on vane shear test obtained 0.38 kg/cm2 with soil bearing capacity of 0.6048 kg/cm2, at a depth of 50 cm obtained a shear strength value of 0.0779 kg/cm2, on vane shear test obtained 0.54 kg/cm2 with soil bearing capacity of 0.6738 kg/cm2. In saturated soil conditions a depth of 30 cm obtained a shear strength value in the direct shear test of 0.0553 kg/cm2, the vane shear test of 0.46 kg/cm2 with a bearing capacity of 0.4116 kg/cm2, a depth of 50 cm obtained shear strength value of 0.0743 kg/cm2, the vane shear testing with a 0.65 kg/cm2 earned bearing capacity of 0.6308 kg/cm2. From the test results direct shear test and vane shear test known that the shear strength in direct shear tests is smaller than the vane shear test. Keywords: Vane shear, direct shear, Clay soil shear strength, Soil bearing capacity.
