Abstract

Children as Indonesian citizens have the right to live a decent life and fulfill their needs and interests. The needs and interests of Indonesian children are regulated in the Regulation of the State Minister for Women's Empowerment and Child Protection No. 12 of 2011. As an effort to carry out the Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection No. 12 of 2011, the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta built child-friendly integrated public spaces (RPTRA) in several areas of Jakarta. According to Governor Regulation Number 123 of 2017 concerning Guidelines for the Management and Needs of Child-friendly Integrated Public Spaces and Infrastructure, it is stated that child-friendly integrated public spaces, hereinafter abbreviated as RPTRA, are places and/or open spaces that combine activities and activities of residents by implementing 10 (ten ) Main Program for Family Empowerment and Welfare, to integrate with the Child Friendly City program. Now more than 300 RPTRAs have been built in DKI Jakarta. The RPTRA which is built on a park adds to the problem, because there are no criteria and standards that regulate the design of the RPTRA, so the various facilities and elements in the RTPRA have not been specifically designed for children, and may even be dangerous for children. Qualitative research methods are used to determine the implementation of RPTRA as a child-friendly space, especially at RPTRA Mawar Duri Kosambi West Jakarta.

Abstract

Kemampuan komunikasi dan pengembangan citra diri menjadi keterampilan penting dalam menghadapi tantangan ekonomi modern, khususnya bagi santri pesantren. Artikel ini membahas pelaksanaan pelatihan public speaking dan personal branding yang diselenggarakan oleh PKM Inovasi Pesantren UPN Veteran Jawa Timur di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Ulum Wirowongso Jember. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk membekali santri tingkat SMP dan SMA dengan keterampilan berbicara di depan umum serta strategi membangun identitas diri yang profesional dan positif. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif dengan kombinasi teori dan praktik langsung. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan  dalam  kepercayaan diri,  kemampuan komunikasi, dan  kesadaran  pentingnya personal branding sebagai modal sosial dan ekonomi. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi langkah strategis dalam menyiapkan generasi santri yang tidak hanya unggul secara spiritual, tetapi juga kompeten dan siap bersaing dalam dunia modern serta berkontribusi dalam pembangunan ekonomi pesantren.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru SDN Pakis V Surabaya dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi digital imaging. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah tuntutan pembelajaran abad ke-21 yang menekankan pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan bermakna. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan pelatihan, workshop, dan pendampingan yang dilaksanakan secara bertahap, meliputi pengenalan digital imaging, pembuatan media pembelajaran, pendampingan proyek, serta pendokumentasian hasil karya dalam bentuk flipbook digital. Subjek kegiatan adalah guru SDN Pakis V Surabaya. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur peningkatan kompetensi peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan nilai rata-rata guru dari 65,7 pada pretest menjadi 85,1 pada posttest. Selain peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan teknis, guru juga memperoleh pengalaman dalam mendokumentasikan media pembelajaran secara digital. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran serta mendukung pencapaian SDG 4 tentang pendidikan berkualitas. Improving the Competence of Teachers at Pakis V Public Elementary School in Surabaya in Creating Digital Imaging Technology-Based Learning Media This community service program aimed to improve the competence of teachers at Pakis V Public Elementary School, Surabaya, in developing learning media based on digital imaging technology. The program was motivated by the demands of 21st-century learning, which emphasize the integration of digital technology to create interactive and meaningful learning experiences. The implementation employed training, workshops, and mentoring conducted in several stages, including the introduction to digital imaging, development of learning media, project-based assistance, and documentation of products in the form of digital flipbooks. The participants were teachers of SDN Pakis V Surabaya. Program effectiveness was evaluated using pretest and posttest assessments. The results showed a significant improvement in teachers’ competencies, with the average score increasing from 65.7 to 85.1. In addition to enhancing technical skills, teachers gained experience in digitally documenting learning media. This program positively impacted instructional quality and contributed to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4 on quality education.
