Abstract

This study aims to explore in depth the role played by Islamic Boarding School of Tahfizh Al-Qur'an Al-Utsmani in the training and development process of Quran teachers. Through a qualitative approach that includes in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, this study investigates how this institution has contributed to the formation of qualified Quran teachers who are able to provide effective Quran education. The results of the study revealed that Islamic Boarding School Tahfizh Al-Qur'an Al-Utsmani is not only a training provider, but also a center of excellence in Quran education. This Islamic Boarding School facilitates Quran teachers in developing a deeper understanding of the holy text, improving their teaching skills, and understanding the pedagogical aspects needed to be effective in educating Quran students. In addition, this study also reveals the role of this Islamic Boarding School in supporting the personal and spiritual development of Quran teachers. This Islamic Boarding School provides an environment that supports their growth as better individuals, which in turn, allows them to provide easier and more enjoyable Quran teaching. Thus, the findings of this study provide important insights into the contribution of the Al-Utsmani Tahfizh Al-Qur'an Islamic Boarding School in producing Al-Qur'an teachers who are not only academically competent but also have the spiritual depth and leadership qualities needed to guide future generations in understanding, broadcasting and da’wah the Al-Qur'an.
