Abstract

Food and beverage packaging waste is the predominant category of household waste on the Widyatama University campus. Responsibility for waste management lies with Widyatama University and requires collaboration from diverse stakeholders, including producers. Waste management employs various methods. The research endeavors to construct a waste management model utilizing concepts of green logistics and extended producer responsibility (EPR) to bolster the green campus initiative by harnessing packaging waste potential. The green logistics concept runs a series of processes—reduction, recycling, reuse, and material substitution—directed at packaging waste and transportation to a Waste Bank. EPR concept incorporates policies incentivizing environmentally-conscious product creation, expanding the producer's responsibility. This concept extends to collaborations with small and medium enterprises (SMEs) around campus. Research simulations demonstrate a substantial reduction in waste volume, from 144 m3 to 72 m3 annually. The cost of waste management decreases by Rp11,352,400 from Rp36,244,800 to Rp24,872,400 annually, resulting in an efficiency of 31.34%.   Abstrak Sampah kemasan makanan dan minuman merupakan jenis sampah rumah tangga terbesar di kampus Universitas Widyatama. Pengelolaan sampah itu menjadi tanggung jawab pihak Universitas Widyatama dan memerlukan keterlibatan dan dukungan dari berbagai pihak, termasuk pihak produsen. Pengelolaan sampah dapat dilakukan dengan beberapa metode. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat model pengelolaan sampah dengan pendekatan konsep green logistics dan extended producer responsibility (EPR) untuk mendukung green campus melalui pemanfaatan limbah kemasan makanan dan minuman di lingkungan Universitas Widyatama. Konsep green logistics diterapkan dengan rangkaian proses reduction, recycle, reuse, dan subsitusi material pada sampah kemasan dan pengirimannya ke Bank Sampah. Konsep EPR memiliki prinsip kebijakan yang mendorong sistem penciptaan suatu produk dengan mempertimbangkan aspek lingkungan dari sisi daur hidup produk tersebut dengan cara memperluas tanggung jawab produsen. Konsep ini diterapkan melalui kolaborasi dengan usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM) di sekitar lingkungan kampus. Dari simulasi pada penelitian ini diperoleh penurunan volume sampah dari 144 m3 menjadi 72 m3 per tahun. Biaya pengelolaan sampah turun sebesar Rp11.352.400 dari Rp36.244.800 menjadi Rp24.872.400 per tahun, sehingga diperoleh efisiensi sebesar 31,34%.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the challenges faced by lecturers in Indonesian higher education institutions in developing high-quality teaching materials due to time constraints, limited resources, and the burden of the tri dharma duties. On the other hand, the Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) offers a solution to enhance content efficiency and relevance through its key characteristics of relevance, content accuracy, and reference accuracy. Therefore, this research aims to evaluate the impact of GenAI usage on the quality and ease of preparing teaching materials in higher education settings. The study employs a quantitative approach using composite-based Structural Equation Modeling (C-SEM), based on data collected through surveys from lecturers at universities in Indonesia who have utilized GenAI in the teaching material design process. The analysis reveals that the main characteristics of GenAI, such as relevance, content accuracy, and reference accuracy, significantly contribute to improving lecturers' effectiveness and efficiency in designing teaching materials. The tested structural model demonstrates a significant positive influence of GenAI usage on the quality of teaching materials and the ease of their preparation, with large effect sizes. These findings underscore the importance of developing GenAI applications focused on enhancing content quality and relevance to support adaptive and innovative learning processes in higher education.   ABSTRAK  (Bahasa Indonesia) Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tantangan dosen perguruan tinggi di Indonesia dalam menyusun materi pembelajaran berkualitas akibat keterbatasan waktu, sumber daya, dan beban tugas tridarma. Disisi lain, generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) dapat menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan relevansi konten melalui karakteristik relevansi, akurasi konten, serta akurasi referensi. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh penggunaan  GenAI terhadap kualitas dan kemudahan penyusunan materi pembelajaran di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode composite-based Structural Equation Modeling (C-SEM), berdasarkan data yang dikumpulkan melalui survei terhadap dosen dari universitas di Indonesia yang telah memanfaatkan GenAI dalam proses perancangan materi ajar. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik utama GenAI, seperti relevansi, akurasi konten, dan akurasi referensi, memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi dosen dalam proses perancangan materi ajar. Model struktural yang diuji memperlihatkan pengaruh positif yang signifikan dari penggunaan GenAI terhadap kualitas materi pembelajaran dan kemudahan penyusunannya dengan ukuran efek yang besar. Hasil ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan aplikasi GenAI yang fokus pada peningkatan kualitas dan relevansi konten untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran yang adaptif dan inovatif di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

The demand for achieving zero accident targets, coupled with various urgent tasks and frequent overtime work, has the potential to increase workload and stress among employees in the K3L (Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment) division at PT PLN (Persero) West Java Distribution Main Unit. Although the company has measured workload using work analysis forms and psychosocial assessments, this approach is considered to not fully represent the actual conditions as it primarily focuses on time aspects and stress levels. This research aims to complement the company's existing workload measurement methods with the Subjective Workload Assessment Technique (SWAT), which considers three main dimensions that is time load, mental effort load, and psychological stress load. The measurement results indicate that the mental effort load dimension has the highest percentage at 34.85%, followed by psychological stress load at 33.20%, and time load at 31.95%. These findings suggest that mental effort load is the dominant factor influencing the mental workload of K3L employees. Based on these results, this research provides recommendations for improvements focused on evaluating and adjusting administrative workload and strengthening managerial support. It is hoped that implementing these proposals can reduce mental workload and foster a more balanced, healthy, and productive work environment.
