Abstract

ABSTRACT Total transport energy use and carbon emissions in 2030 are estimated to be about 80% higher than at present. West Java's transportation sector emissions are projected to occupy the third position in the third-largest contributor to GRK emissions, amounting to 21.9 million tons of CO2. The West Java Provincial Government aims to reduce 3.18 million tons of CO2 eq for the energy sector and 1.1 million tons of CO2 eq for the transportation sector. Of course, this is a challenge for the government because the volume of truck logistic systems continues to increase, especially in Bandung. The purpose of this study is to determine the value of truck exhaust emissions produced and to know what strategies should be taken to reduce exhaust emissions based on the selection of distribution routes for rice distribution in Bandung City. This study uses an ILP model with a Matlab solver that compares the total mileage, the number of vehicles, and total transportation costs in two distribution systems, namely direct delivery and shared delivery. In this study, the scenario of the transport capacity was changed according to the use of the truck type fuso tub, changing the type of truck that has a larger capacity, and calculating the value of exhaust emissions for trucks in both new scenarios and two distribution systems. The results showed, to reduce exhaust emissions by adjusting the number of vehicles and the minimum total mileage through increased transport capacity and sharing delivery systems, this strategy can reduce exhaust emissions by 21.92% for each composition.  Keywords: transportation, rice distribution, sharing delivery, emission reduction, exhaust emission   ABSTRAK Total penggunaan energi transportasi dan emisi karbon pada tahun 2030 diperkirakan menjadi sekitar 80% lebih tinggi daripada kondisi saat ini. Pada emisi sektor transportasi Jawa Barat diproyeksikan pada tahun 2020 menempati posisi ketiga terbesar penyumbang emisi GRK sebesar 21,9 juta ton CO2. Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat memiliki target menurunkan 3,18 juta ton CO2-eq untuk sektor energi dan 1,1 juta ton CO2-eq untuk sektor transportasi. Tentu hal ini menjadi tantangan pemerintah karena faktanya pada sistem logistik volume kendaraan truk terus meningkat khususnya di Kota Bandung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai emisi gas buang kendaraan truk yang dihasilkan dan mengetahui strategi apa yang harus diambil untuk menurunkan emisi gas buang berdasarkan pemilihan rute distribusi untuk distribusi beras di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan model ILP dengan solver Matlab yang membandingkan total jarak tempuh, jumlah kendaraan, dan total biaya transportasi pada dua sistem distribusi yaitu pengiriman langsung dan pengiriman berbagi. Pada penelitian ini skenario kapasitas angkut diubah sesuai dengan penggunaan armada angkut truk jenis fuso bak, mengubah jenis truk yang memiliki kapasitas lebih besar, serta menghitung nilai emisi gas buang untuk kendaraan truk pada kedua skenario baru dan dua sistem distribusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, dengan mengatur jumlah kendaraan dan total jarak tempuh minimum melalui peningkatan kapasitas angkut dan penggunaan sistem pengiriman berbagi, dapat menurunkan emisi gas buang sebesar 21,92% untuk setiap komposisinya. Abstract

The availability of the number of vehicles in Karawang Regency is not matched by the availability of fuel at gas stations. Due to the very high demand for fuel, the Cikampek BBM Terminal has several problems, including the absence of a standard distribution route in distributing its products to gas stations so that it takes a long time and the high amount of transportation costs that must be borne by the company. In this study, the route and distribution schedule will be determined as well as determining the capacity and number of tanker trucks that are able to minimize mileage, travel time and transportation costs. Based on calculations using the Saving Matrix method, it produces efficiency in the number of vehicles needed from 7 trucks to 4 tanker trucks, vehicle usage from 9 times to 6 times, distance traveled from 63 KM to 53 KM and the difference in transportation costs per day is Rp. 1,312,633.

Abstract

This paper discusses trends, challenges, and perspectives in logistics system of Indonesia during and post (new normal) of Covid-19 pandemic. PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restriction) caused a number of supply chains to be cut and made railroad transportation activities decreased. On the other hand, WFH (Work From Home) caused sector of e-Commerce to grow during the pandemic. Challenges in logistics system of Indonesia during the pandemic are changes in distribution patterns, changes in handling processes, changes in facilities and equipment, changes in business processes, and changes in networks. Adaptations in logistics system during the pandemic are using ICT (information and communication technology) such as TMS (Transportation Management System) and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and considering health. WMS (Warehouse Management System) still has a great opportunity to be utilized. The adaptations raise a new discipline in Industrial Engineering, namely logistics hygienic. The use of various ICTs in logistics system together with implementation of health protocols are expected to be a solution for logistics system in Indonesia, especially for the new normal of Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Sebaran kasus postif Covid-19 di Indonesia didominasi oleh DKI Jakarta sebesar 3.097 orang atau 45,82%, Jawa Barat sebesar 747 orang atau 11,05%, dan Jawa Timur sebesar 590 orang atau 8,73%. Informasi yang diterima PB IDI setidaknya ada 24 dokter yang meninggal per 16 April 2020 karena positif Covid-19, 8 diantaranya dari Jawa Barat. Permasalahan yang terjadi di RSUD Gunung Jati Cirebon, bantuan APD yang didapat dari Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Jawa Barat belum cukup. Jika ingin memenuhi persediaan setiap wilayah dengan cepat, maka diperlukan strategi distribusi dalam waktu tempuh yang cepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang jaringan distribusi dan penentuan titik lokasi pusat distribusi bantuan logistik medis Covid-19 untuk Jawa Barat agar waktu tempuh distribusi cepat. Penelitian ini meliputi perancangan jaringan distribusi, klasterisasi logistik dan titik lokasi pusat distribusi bantuan logsitik medis Covid-19 di setiap klaster di Jawa Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Saluran Distribusi Selektif dalam merancang jaringan distribusi, K-Means Method dalam pembagian klaster, dan Gravity Location Models dalam penentuan titik distribusi. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa jaringan distribusi yang diusulkan memberikan waktu tempuh yang cepat, jaringan distribusi dapat dibuat dengan 4 klaster logistik. Klaster 1 di Kasokandel Majalengka, Klaster 2 di Wanaherang Gunung Putri, Klaster 3 di Cipendeuy Padalarang, Klaster 4 di Sukamulya Ciamis. Total efisiensi waktu tempuh pada klaster 1 sebesar 17,27 jam/minggu, pada klaster 3 sebesar 2,57 jam/minggu, pada klaster 4 sebesar 22,26 jam/minggu, dan pada klaster 2 tidak direkomendasikan untuk dibuat pusat distribusi sehingga distribusi pada klaster 2 langsung dari Lanud Halim Perdana Kusumah.

Abstract

PT XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang farmasi di Indonesia, sebagai perusahaan farmasi terkemuka di Indonesia dan dipercaya oleh banyak masyarakat maka PT XYZ selalu berusaha memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik dalam segi hal pemenuhan permintaan pasar (customer) dikirimkan dengan tepat waktu (lead time). Permintaan yang diterima selalu beragam setiap bulan, peningkatan jumlah demand yang drastis akan berpengaruh kepada waktu proses yang dibutuhkan untuk pemenuhan permintaan dengan waktu proses produksi suatu produk. Masalah ini dapat diatasi dengan melakukan analisa Takt Time dan Cycle Time yang dibutuhkan untuk pemenuhan permintaan bulan Oktober 2020, dimana jumlah permintaan produk A pada bulan Oktober 2020 sebanyak 10.560 pcs. Hasil analisa Takt Time dan Cycle Time dianalisa waste menggunakan metode FMEA. Didapat 3 jenis waste yaitu waste waiting time, unnecessary inventory, dan penjadwalan.

Abstract

AbstrakKondisi perekonomian Indonesia saat ini terdampak oleh situasi pandemi Covid-19 akibatnya banyak pelaku usaha pada UMKM yang mengalami keterpurukan. Sementara itu, pemerintah berupaya untuk memulihkan perekonomian Indonesia melalui fase new normal. Dengan demikian, pelaku usaha harus bisa beradaptasi dengan berbagai perubahan tersebut. Diantaranya dengan mengembangkan usahanya melalui pemasaran digital yang mendukung agar produk yang dihasilkan bisa di akses dari rumah. Penyuluhan dan pendampingan perlu dilakukan bagi masyarakat sebagai pelaku usaha yang berada di Kelurahan Margasari Kecamatan Buah Batu Kota Bandung dalam menjalankan bisnisnya di era new normal saat ini. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini diawali dengan survey lapangan oleh mahasiswa pada hari Rabu tanggal 10 Maret 2021 ke-6 UMKM. Pada tanggal 15 dan 16 Maret 2021 dilaksanakan penyuluhan Strategi Pemasaran Berbasis Digital untuk UMKM di Masa Pandemi Covid-19 dan pada tanggal 17 Maret 2021 dilaksanakan pendampingan langsung ke rumah warga yang menjalankan UMKM. Hasil dari kegiatan PkM 86,67% menurut UMKM terbantu dengan adanya kegiatan PkM melalui; 86,67% menurut UMKM mendapatkan pencerahan untuk mengembangkan usaha di masa Pandemi Covid-19; 80% menurut UMKM paham tentang pemasaran produk dengan bantuan teknologi digital. 73,33% menurut UMKM terbantu dengan pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam mengembangakan UMKM.  AbstractThe current condition of the Indonesian economy is affected by the Covid-19 pandemic situation as a result of which many business actors at MSMEs are experiencing a downturn. Meanwhile, the government is trying to restore Indonesia's economy through a new normal phase. Thus, business actors must be able to adapt to these various changes. Among them by developing their business through digital marketing that supports the products produced can be accessed from home. Counseling and assistance need to be done for the community as business actors who are in Margasari Village, Buah Batu District, Bandung City in carrying out their business in the current new normal era. This Community Service (PkM) activity begins with a field survey by students on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, the 6th UMKM. On March 15 and 16, 2021, there was counseling on Digital-Based Marketing Strategies for MSMEs during the Covid-19 Pandemic and on March 17, 2021, direct assistance was carried out to the homes of residents who run MSMEs. The results of PkM activities are 86.67% according to MSMEs being helped by PkM activities through; 86.67% according to MSMEs got enlightenment to develop businesses during the Covid-19 Pandemic; 80% according to MSMEs understand product marketing with the help of digital technology. 73.33% according to MSMEs it was helped by the use of digital technology in developing MSMEs.

Abstract

PMI of Bandung City experienced overstock. Overstock and expired blood supplies must be destroyed. In the overstock phase every month, PMI of Bandung City experiences waste and needs to be controlled inventory. In the blood have six components that need to be controlled, but it takes a long time to analyze each component of the bloood. It is necessary to determine the priority blood components that must bee controlled immediately so that they are expected to influence the reduction in the destroyed cost. The purpose of this study is find out what blood component are prioritized to control their supply. Determination of blood component priority using the AHP (Analitycal Hierarchy Process) approach. The AHP method is decision making model that breaks down complex multi-criteria problems into a hierarchy. The priority blood component to be controlled is Packed Red Cell (PRC) component of 0.338. This value is obtained because it is influenced by the weight of the supply criteria of 0.709, demand of 0.113; and lifetime of 0.179.

Abstract

Peningkatan efisiensi pada setiap tahapan proses pada produksi suatu produk akan mengoptimalkan setiap penggunaan komponen produksi, menghasilkan mutu produk yang baik serta berdampak positif terhadap lingkungan. Salah satu konsep yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan bahan baku, bahan penunjang dan energi di seluruh tahapan produksi dan minimalisasi limbah adalah konsep produksi bersih. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menghindari terjadinya limbah dikarenakan kualitas stok air bekas pencucian mesin setelah 2 bulan mengalami penurunan kualitas seperti bau dan separasi di gudang PT ASR. Metode yang digunakan adalah pembuatan layout penyimpanan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara langsung dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa, perencanaan oleh pihak manajemen, Transaksi di dalam gudang baik penerimaan dan penyimpanan stok air bekas pencucian mesin, pengambilan stok air bekas pencucian mesin, penyimpanan stok air bekas pencucian mesin ke gudang, transaksi internal gudang, dan pengiriman stok air bekas pencucian mesin ke area mixing. Abstract

Steel scrap is waste product from the results of industrial production processes at manufacture industries for automatic components. Although according to manufacture companies, steel scrap considered as garbage or waste material, except for upstream companies such as steel casting manufacture steel scrap considered as raw materials. To fullfill production needs, steel scrap play an important role for the continuity of production companies engaged in metal casting. The problem that occasionally occurs in metal casting companies is sometimes the cost of raw materials increases due to lack of steel scrap. The needs for steel scrap itself is influenced by production demands that have high fluctuation and tend to be uncertain. Uncertainty inventory method expected to provide an optimal profit picture. The purpose of this study is to determine the number of purchases of the most economical raw materials within one year and predict purchases in the following years. The location of this research was conducted at a metal casting company located in Karawang, West Java.
