Abstract

ABSTRACT Pregnancy is a new experience for a woman, physical and psychological changes and social changes cause their own discomfort. The prevalence of discomfort during pregnancy is around 3-17%, in developed countries 10% and in developing countries 25%, in Indonesia the incidence of discomfort in pregnancy ranges from 28.7%. (Ministry of Health RI, 2019). Back pain can interfere with the daily activities of pregnant women. Therefore, back pain can be overcome by giving exercise. Exercise is effective in preventing back pain in the hip, reducing the intensity of the pain and the possibility of disability. Knowing the effectiveness of pelvic tilt exercise in reducing back pain in third trimester pregnant women at the Asti Medical Center clinic in Karawang City in 2023. This research is a quantitative study using experimental methods with a one group pre-test post-test design and the sample in this study were pregnant women in their third trimester who experienced back pain with a sample size of 38 respondents. Sampling in this study by purposive sampling method and the measuring tool used is the Visual Analog Scale (VAS). The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect on reducing back pain in third trimester pregnant women who have been given pelvic tilt exercise with a p value (0.000) <α (0.05) indicating that there is a significant difference in decreasing pain before and after being given pelvic Tilit exercise in third trimester pregnant women.Conclusions and There is a significant effect of the implementation of pelvic tilt exercise on reducing back pain in third trimester pregnant women so as to obtain optimal results. It is hoped that pelvic tilt exercise can be implemented in third trimester pregnant women, especially to reduce back pain. Keywords: Pelvic Tilt Exercise, Back Pain, Pregnant Women  ABSTRAK Kehamilan menjadi pengalaman baru bagi seorang perempuan, perubahan fisik serta psikologis dan perubahan sosial menimbulkan ketidaknyamanan tersendiri. Prevalensi ketidaknyamanan selama kehamilan sekitar 3- 17%, di negara maju 10% dan di negara berkembang 25%, di Indonesia angka kejadian ketidaknyamanan pada kehamilan berkisar 28,7%.(Kemenkes RI, 2019).Nyeri punggung dapat mengganggu aktivitas sehari-hari dari ibu hamil. Oleh karena itu, nyeri punggung dapat diatasi dengan pemberian exercise. Exercise efektif dalam pencegahan nyeri punggung pada kehamilan, mengurangi intensitas nyerinya dan kemungkinan disability. Mengetahui efektivitas pelvic tilit exercise terhadap penurunan nyeri punggung pada ibu hamil trimester III di klinik Asti Medical Center Kota Karawang Tahun 2023. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan desain penelitian one group pre-test post-test design   dan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu ibu hamil trimester III yang mengalami nyeri punggung dengan besar sampel 38 responden. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dengan metode purposive sampling dan alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Visual Analog Scale (VAS). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan penurunan rasa nyeri punggung ibu hamil trimester III yang telah diberilakan pelvic tilit exercise dengan p value (0,000) < α (0,05) menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan signifikan terhadap penurunan rasa nyeri sebelum dan sesudah di berikan pelvic tilit exercise pada ibu hamil trimester III. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pelaksanaan pelvic tilit exercise terhadap penurunan nyeri punggung ibu hamil trimester III sehingga mendapatkan hasil yang optimal. Diharapkan pelvic tilit exercise dapat diimplementasikan pada ibu hamil trimester III, khususnya untuk mengurangi nyeri punggung.          Kata Kunci: Pelvic Tilt Exercise, Nyeri Punggung, Ibu Hamil
