Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match berbantuan alat peraga dan tipe round robin berbantuan alat peraga. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MTs. AlIttihadiyah Medan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan metode quasi experiment (semu) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen I dan kelas eksperimen II yang diberi perlakuan berbeda. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa antara yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match berbantuan alat peraga dan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe round robin berbantuan alat peraga pada materi lingkaran di MTs Al-Ittihadiyah Medan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai t-hitung = 2,185 > t-tabel= 2,015. Dengan nilai rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen I sebesar 73,63 dan nilai rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen II sebesar 68,25. ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the differences in students' critical thinking abilities who are taught using the make a match type cooperative learning model assisted by props and the round robin type assisted by props. This research was carried out at MTs. Al Ittihadiyah Medan. This research is a type of experimental research with a quasi-experiment method with a quantitative approach. This research involved two classes, namely experimental class I and experimental class II which were given different treatments. The research results obtained show that there are differences in students' critical thinking abilities between those taught using the make a match type cooperative learning model assisted by props and the round robin type cooperative learning model assisted by props on circle material at MTs Al-Ittihadiyah Medan. This is indicated by the value t-hitung = 2.185 > t-tabel = 2.015. With an average post-test score for experimental class I of 73.63 and an average post-test score for experimental class II of 68.25.
