Abstract

This study aims to analyze the variety of meanings using semantic studies by focusing the study on advertising slogans for beverage products in Indonesian because there are many advertising slogans and are easy to remember by the public. This study describes the lexical, grammatical, referential, and non-referential meanings of Indonesian beverage product advertising slogans. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, the data collection technique used is the listening and note-taking technique. The results of the analysis obtained on 10 advertising slogans for beverage products in Indonesian language are that there are four meanings in the slogansincluding lexical meaning as many as 24 words, grammatical meaning as many as 12 words, referential as many as 7 words, and non-referential as many as 2 words.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (a) mendeskripsikan dan mengklasifikasikan jenis implikatur percakapan dalam interaksi antara guru dan siswa tunagrahita dalam pembelajaran di SKH Negeri 01 Kota Serang dan (b) mendeskripsikan dan mengklasifikasikan fungsi implikatur percakapan dalam interaksi antara guru dan siswa tunagrahita dalam pembelajaran di SKH Negeri 01 Kota Serang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode simak dengan teknik sadap sebagai teknik dasar, teknik Simak Bebas Libat Cakap sebagai teknik lanjutan, dan teknik catat. Selanjutnya, sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah rekaman interaksi pembelajaran dari beberapa kelas di SKH Negeri 01 Kota Serang yang kemudian ditranskripsikan ke dalam bentuk tulisan. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode padan pragmatis dengan teknik dasar Pilah Unsur Penentu (PUP) dan teknik lanjutan berupa analisis kontekstual. Penelitian ini memperoleh temuan berupa jenis implikatur percakapan sebanyak 37 data yang diperinci sebagai berikut: (1) implikatur percakapan umum sebanyak 7 data; (2) implikatur percakapan khusus sebanyak 27 data; dan (3) implikatur percakapan berskala sebanyak 3 data. Adapun temuan fungsi implikatur percakapan dalam interaksi guru-siswa tunagrahita di SKH Negeri 01 Kota Serang adalah sebagai berikut: (1) fungsi asertif sebanyak 11 data; (2) fungsi direktif sebanyak 23 data; (3) fungsi ekspresif sebanyak 2 data; dan (4) fungsi deklaratif sebanyak 1 data. KATA KUNCI: pragmatik; implikatur percakapan; tunagrahita >  IMPLICATIONS OF CONVERSATION IN THE LEARNING PROCESS OF STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS AT SKH NEGERI 01 KOTA SERANG   ABSTRACT: This study aims to (a) describe and classify the types of conversational implicatures in interactions between teachers and students with intellectual disabilities in learning at SKH Negeri 01 Kota Serang and (b) describe and classify the functions of conversational implicatures in interactions between teachers and students with intellectual disabilities in learning at SKH Negeri 01 Kota Serang. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used are the listening method with eavesdropping as the basic technique, the Free Listening and Involved Conversation technique as the advanced technique, and the note-taking technique. Furthermore, the data sources in this study are recordings of learning interactions from several classes at SKH Negeri 01 Kota Serang, which were then transcribed into written form. The data analysis technique in this study used the pragmatic matching method with the basic technique of Element Selection (PUP) and an advanced technique of contextual analysis. This study found 37 types of conversational implicatures, which are detailed as follows: (1) 7 general conversational implicatures; (2) 27 specific conversational implicatures; and (3) 3 scaled conversational implicatures. The findings on the functions of conversational implicatures in teacher-student interactions with mentally disabled students at SKH Negeri 01 Kota Serang are as follows: (1) 11 data points for assertive functions; (2) 23 data points for directive functions; (3) 2 data points for expressive functions; and (4) 1 data point for declarative functions.
