Abstract

Numeracy ability is a very important basic ability for students to have which becomes a reference in understanding science and other basic knowledge in everyday life. To create good numeracy skills in students, teachers must be able to create a pleasant learning atmosphere. This can be realized with the Canva ppt learning media. Learning media is a learning tool that is used by teachers as intermediaries to convey instructional materials in the learning process so as to facilitate the achievement of teaching objectives. This research aims to analyze students' numeracy abilities regarding mathematics subject matter, learning motivation and also the use of learning media by teachers. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Bugangan 03 Semarang City, involving a teacher and 28 fifth grade students. Researchers collected data through structured interviews with fifth grade teachers, observing the learning process twice, and documentation in the form of photos, audio, and video. The data analysis technique used by researchers is the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The researcher's data validity technique used the credibility test and confirmability test. In testing the credibility of the data, researchers used ways to increase persistence in research, triangulation, and member checks. The results of the analysis show that using the Canva ppt learning media has a positive impact on increasing students' numeracy skills and learning motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using Smart Board media assisted by wordwall applications on learning PPKn in improving learning outcomes and learning activities of fourth grade students at SD Negeri Peterongan Semarang. The type of research used is a quantitative experiment using Group Pretest-Posttes design. The population of this study were 27 IVA class students. This research data was obtained through student learning outcomes (Pretest-Posttes) and observation of student learning activities. The results showed that student learning outcomes had improved. It can be seen from the difference in the average score of pretest 68.70 and posttest 88.33. The hypothesis results obtained through the paired sample test (t test) show a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, meaning Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The average results conducted through the gain test obtained 0.65 into the high category, meaning that there is an effect of using Smart Board media assisted by wordwall application to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Peterongan Semarang. The results showed that the data obtained on student learning activeness was very good 24 students with a percentage of 89% and 3 students had good learning activeness with a percentage of 11% in using the Smart Board media.
