AbstractHuman resources are one of the most critical assets in organizations, both in the private and public sectors, playing a significant role in achieving organizational goals. Therefore, the efficiency and productivity of human resources must be enhanced. This study aims to: (1) analyze the influence of personality traits (Neuroticism, Extraversion, Openness to Experience, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness) and interpersonal communication on organizational commitment at the Palopo City Health Office, and (2) identify the dominant variable among these factors that most significantly impacts organizational commitment. The research employs multiple linear regression analysis, supported by descriptive analysis. The findings reveal that: (1) personality traits (neuroticism, extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness, conscientiousness) and interpersonal communication have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment; (2) Conscientiousness is the most dominant variable influencing organizational commitment; (3) the coefficient of determination (R²) test result shows a value of 0.735, indicating that the independent variables influence the dependent variable by 73.5%, while the remaining 26.5% is affected by other factors not included in this study; and (4) both the simultaneous and partial tests demonstrate that all independent variables significantly affect the dependent variable, either collectively or individually.Keywords: Personality, Interpersonal Communication, Organizational CommitmentAbstrakSumber daya manusia merupakan salah satu aset penting organisasi, baik di sektor swasta maupun publik, yang berperan signifikan dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi. Oleh karena itu, efisiensi dan produktivitas sumber daya manusia perlu ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menganalisis pengaruh kepribadian (Neuroticism, Extraversion, Openness to Experience, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness) dan komunikasi interpersonal terhadap komitmen organisasional pada Dinas Kesehatan Kota Palopo, serta (2) mengidentifikasi variabel dominan di antara variabel tersebut yang paling memengaruhi komitmen organisasional. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear berganda, didukung oleh analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kepribadian (neuroticism, extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness, conscientiousness) dan komunikasi interpersonal secara positif dan signifikan memengaruhi komitmen organisasional; (2) variabel Conscientiousness merupakan variabel yang paling dominan memengaruhi komitmen organisasional; (3) hasil uji koefisien determinasi (R²) menunjukkan nilai sebesar 0,735, yang berarti bahwa variabel independen memengaruhi variabel dependen sebesar 73,5%, sedangkan sisanya, yaitu 26,5%, dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini; (4) hasil uji simultan dan parsial menunjukkan bahwa semua variabel independen, baik secara bersama-sama maupun secara parsial, memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel dependen.Kata Kunci: Kepribadian, Komunikasi Interpersonal, Komitmen Organisasional
