Abstract

The application of humanist learning theory in the implementation of strengthening the Pancasila (P5) class 5 student profile project at SDN 08 Paser Belengkong, is still facing problems. This problem occurs because teachers do not understand how to plan learning tools to apply humanist principles in P5 learning. The aim of the research is to determine the application of humanist learning principles after the teacher held a focus group discussion with the researcher and together with the researcher planned learning tools with a humanist approach. The research method is qualitative research with teacher, student and school principal respondents. The determination of respondents, namely purposive sampling, was based on the research objectives. Snowball sampling occurs through involving participants according to respondents. The research procedure begins with the researcher compiling instruments and learning tools by applying humanist principles, carrying out the research using interview and observation techniques. Data analysis through coding, data reduction, data display, temporary conclusions and final conclusions that occurred during the interview process. The research results obtained from teacher respondents had prepared, implemented and evaluated the application of learning using humanist principles. Student respondents have prepared, implemented and produced performance in the form of simple P5 projects related to Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, and school principal respondents have facilitated the preparation, implementation and evaluation of P5 learning implementation so that students produce project performance related to Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.

Abstract

The application of humanist learning theory in the implementation of the collaborative learning model in learning science and science subjects in grade 5 at SDN 005 Batu Enggau still faces obstacles. This obstacle occurs because teachers do not yet understand how to plan learning tools to apply humanistic and collaborative models in science and science learning in grade 5 elementary school. The research method is qualitative research with respondents teachers, students and principals. Determination of respondents, namely purposive sampling, is based on research objectives. The research procedure begins with researchers compiling instruments and learning devices with a constructivist approach, implementing research through interview and observation techniques. The results of the study were obtained from teacher respondents who had prepared, implemented and evaluated the application of the constructivist approach. Student respondents have prepared, implemented, and produced performance in the form of a simple LKPD project related to spatial geometry mathematics, and the principal respondents have facilitated the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of the implementation of learning with a constructivist approach so that students produce simple project performance in the form of LKPD related to spatial geometry.
