Abstract

This study aims to analyze adaptive curriculum implementation models in the era of distance education as a response to post-pandemic learning transformation. The research employed a qualitative approach using library research through the analysis of primary literature, including journal articles, policy reports, and books published between 2014 and 2024. The findings reveal that the effectiveness of distance curriculum implementation depends on four key pillars: curriculum design flexibility, teachers’ digital readiness, students’ self-directed learning, and continuous evaluation. Supporting factors such as adaptive policies, digital infrastructure, and technological literacy also play crucial roles in the success of adaptive digital curriculum models. This study contributes to strengthening theoretical understanding and provides practical recommendations for educators and policymakers in enhancing Indonesia’s distance learning ecosystem.

Abstract

The current moral and spiritual crisis in education indicates a gap between intellectual achievement and character formation. Phenomena such as low empathy, dishonesty, and high academic stress demonstrate that education still prioritizes cognitive development while neglecting spiritual dimensions. This study focuses on the implementation of Sufism principles in character education as a means to cultivate inner peace within the school environment. Employing a library research method, data were collected from classical and contemporary literature related to Sufism and character education. The data were analyzed using a content analysis approach through the stages of collection, classification, interpretation, and synthesis. The findings reveal that Sufi values such as tazkiyatun nafs (self-purification), muraqabah (spiritual awareness), ikhlas (sincerity), sabr (patience), and muhasabah (self-reflection) effectively shape students’ moral, emotional, and spiritual integrity. These values can be implemented through teachers’ moral exemplarity, regular spiritual practices, and the integration of spiritual principles into the curriculum. In conclusion, Sufism-based education fosters inner balance and contributes to the formation of insan kamil, an ideal human being who is intellectually enlightened and morally upright. ABSTRAKKrisis moral dan spiritual di dunia pendidikan saat ini menandakan adanya ketimpangan antara pencapaian intelektual dan pembentukan karakter. Fenomena seperti rendahnya empati, perilaku tidak jujur, serta tekanan akademik menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan lebih menekankan aspek kognitif daripada dimensi ruhani. Penelitian ini berfokus pada penerapan prinsip-prinsip tasawuf dalam pendidikan karakter untuk menghadirkan ketenteraman jiwa di sekolah. Menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan (library research), data dikumpulkan dari literatur klasik dan kontemporer yang relevan dengan tasawuf dan pendidikan karakter. Analisis dilakukan melalui pendekatan content analysis dengan tahapan pengumpulan, klasifikasi, interpretasi, dan sintesis literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai tasawuf seperti tazkiyatun nafs (penyucian jiwa), muraqabah (kesadaran spiritual), ikhlas, sabar, dan muhasabah (refleksi diri) berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik yang berakhlak, empatik, dan tenang. Implementasi prinsip-prinsip ini dapat dilakukan melalui keteladanan guru, pembiasaan kegiatan spiritual, dan integrasi nilai-nilai ruhani dalam kurikulum. Kesimpulannya, pendidikan berbasis tasawuf mampu menumbuhkan keseimbangan batin serta membentuk insan kamil yang cerdas dan beradab.
