<![CDATA[Abstract: The relevant units at Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan International Airport conduct surveillance on the airside which aims to build compliance from GSE operators to the SOP on the airside. In its supervision, there are still several violations that occur in the airside area of Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan International Airport that are not in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that has been implemented. This happens because the ground handling personnel are not maximized in complying with the SOP and there are other contributing factors. Another contributing factor is the negligence of Ground Handling as the owner or service provider related to the maintenance and procurement of ground service support equipment / Ground Support Equipment (GSE) is not feasible but still used in service. Aircraft ground service support equipment / GSE is an important factor for the smooth process of aircraft service on the ground, so it is necessary to pay attention to its feasibility condition by maintaining, repairing and replacing equipment that is not feasible until it is feasible to use. The type of research used in this research is a combination method with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that in order to minimize the level of violations committed in the airside area, it is necessary to have simultaneous or periodic checks carried out by the AMC unit with a random schedule, The need for socialization of operating procedures and the feasibility of aircraft ground service support equipment / GSE and about minimizing violations and accidents on the air side (Ramp Safety Campaign) and taking firm action against operators and Ground Handling as owners or service providers who violate in the hope that operators and Ground Handling companies as owners or service providers can comply with the rules set by the Airport so as to facilitate the service process and can minimize accidents and safety on the air side Keyword: Apron Movement Control, Ground Support Equipment, Supervision of movement of GSE vehicles and equipment, SOP compliance on the airside Abstrak: Unit terkait di Bandar Udara Internasional Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan melakukan pengawasan pada sisi udara (Airside) yang bertujuan untuk membangun kepatuhan dari operator GSE terhadap SOP di sisi udara. Dalam pengawasannya masih ditemukan beberapa pelanggaran yang terjadi di area sisi udara Bandar Udara Internasional Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan yang belum sesuai dengan Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) yang telah berlakukan. Hal ini terjadi karena belum maksimal nya personel ground handling dalam mematuhi SOP dan adanya faktor penyebab lainnya. Faktor penyebab lainnya adalah kelalaian dari pihak Ground Handling sebagai pemilik atau penyedia jasa layanan terkait dengan perawatan dan pengadaan terhadap peralatan penunjang pelayanan darat / Ground Support Equipment (GSE) tersebut tidak laik tetapi tetap digunakan dalam pelayanan. Peralatan penunjang pelayanan darat pesawat udara/GSE merupakan faktor penting untuk kelancaran proses pelayanan pesawat udara di darat, sehingga perlu diperhatikan kondisi kelaikannya dengan cara merawat, memperbaiki dan mengganti peralatan yang tidak laik hingga laik untuk digunakan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kombinasi dengan Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan kuisoner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guna meminimalisir tingkat pelanggaran yang dilakukan di area sisi udara perlu adanya pemeriksaan secara simultan atau berkala yang dilakukan oleh unit AMC dengan jadwal yang random, perlunya dilakukannya sosialisasi tentang prosedur pengoperasian dan kelaikan peralatan penunjang pelayanan darat pesawat udara/GSE dan tentang meminimalisir pelanggaran dan kecelakaan di sisi udara (Ramp Safety Campaign) serta menindak tegas kepada operator dan Ground Handling sebagai pemilik atau penyedia jasa layanan yang melanggar dengan harapan agar operator maupun perusahaan Ground Handling sebagai pemilik atau penyedia jasa layanan dapat mematuhi peraturan yang telah di tetapkan oleh pihak Bandara sehingga dapat memperlancar proses pelayanan dan bisa meminimalisir kecelakaan serta keselamatan di sisi udara.
