Abstract

Parenting patterns are a very influential factor in child development, especially in the aspect of early childhood nutritional growth and development. Ineffective nutrition parenting in family may caused under- five year childrean malnourished. This study aimed to determine the correlation of parenting nutrition with nutritional status of toddlers. A cross-sectional design applied to 80 mothers who have children aged 0-59 months. The data collection tool used a questionnaire, the nutritional status of toddlers was measured by weight/height indicators. Data analysis used chi-square. The results of the study showed that there were significant associations between nutrition parenting and the nutritional status of toddlers (p < 0.026). From this study, parents are expected to be able to apply appropriate nutritional parenting patterns to their children so that their development runs normally according to their age.

Abstract

Background: School Children's Snack Food (PJAS) is still an important problem. Lack of knowledge is one of the reasons why children continue to consume unhealthy snacks. Even though these snacks contain additives that are carcinogenic to the body. The results of monitoring by the POM Agency show that school children's snacks do not meet the requirements, ranging from 40% - 44%. School children's snacks do not meet food safety requirements due to the use of dangerous ingredients that are prohibited for use in food such as formaldehyde, borax, rhodamine B dye and methanyl yellow. This is certainly a serious problem that requires attention from all parties. Additives that accumulate in a child's body will cause dangerous diseases. One strategy to improve children's knowledge and attitudes is through health counseling or education. Objectives: This study aims to determine the effect of health education using sound slide media on knowledge and action in choosing snacks among elementary school age children at SDN Garangan. Method: This study aims to determine the effect of health education using sound slide media on knowledge and action in choosing snacks among elementary school age children at SDN Garangan. Result: The results of the bivariate analysis show that there is a significant influence between the influence of health education on knowledge and actions in choosing snacks, with a value of p=0.000 (p<0.05), which means that there is an influence of knowledge and actions before and after being given health education. Conclusion: There is an influence of health education using sound slide media on knowledge and action in choosing snacks for elementary school age children at SDN Garangan in 2024.

Abstract

Background: Anemia is a health problem that is prone to occur in adolescent. The risk of adolescent anemia is influenced by factors, including education, knowledge about anemia, and compliance with Fe tablet consumption. Non-compliance in consuming Fe tablets can be caused by various factors, such as bad taste, nausea side effects, and lack of understanding of the correct dosage and consumption method. Purpose: This is study aims to determine the correlation between the level of knowledge about anemia and adherence to taking Fe tablets with the incidence of anemia of adolescent at Bina Dirgantara Surakarta. Methods: Quantitative research design with descriptive correlation method and cross-sectional approach. The study population was all students of class X and XI of Bina Dirgantara Surakarta, the sampling technique used total sampling, obtained a sample of 50 respondents. The research instruments were questionnaires and GCHB. Results: The results showed that most respondents were in the high knowledge category, as many as 29 people (58%). Most respondents were categorized as non-compliant in consuming Fe tablets as many as 29 people (58%). Most respondents experienced anemia as many as 26 people (52%). There is no correlation between knowledge level and the incidence of anemia in adolescent (p-value = 0.077; p> 0.05). There was no correlation of adherence to taking Fe tablets with the incidence of anemia in adolescent (p-value = 0.077; p > 0.05). Conclusion: It was concluded that knowledge and adherence to taking Fe tablets were not correlation with the incidence of anemia in adolescent.

Abstract

Background: : Preparation of a thesis proposal is an important stage in completing student studies, but is often faced with academic procrastination behavior. One factor that is thought to affect academic procrastination is self-efficacy or individual confidence in completing academic tasks. Objectives: This study aims to determine the effect of health education using sound slide media on knowledge and action in choosing snacks among elementary school age children at SDN Garangan. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and academic procrastination in preparing thesis proposals in final semester nursing students at STIKes Estu Utomo Boyolali. Method: This research is a descriptive study in the form of a correlation study with a cross sectional approach. This research was conducted in March 2025. The sampling technique in this study used total sampling with a total of 49 student respondents. The research instrument used the College Academic Self-Efficacy Scale (CASES) questionnaire to measure self-efficacy and the Academic Procrastination Scale (APS) to measure academic procrastination. Data analysis using Spearman Rank test. Results: The results of the Spearman Rank test showed a p value of 0.000 which means there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and academic procrastination. The correlation coefficient value shows 0.524 so that between self-efficacy and academic procrastination has a relationship with moderate strength and negative direction. Conclusion: There is a relationship between self-efficacy and academic procrastination in preparing proposals for final semester nursing students at STIKES Estu Utomo Boyolali
