Abstract

This research discusses the phenomenon of Islamic education which is expressed in various types and forms that have long developed in society and have a strong philosophical foundation. Philosophizing can also be expressed as a way of thinking about something critically, getting to the root of the problem in order to obtain the truth. And in essence, philosophy is learning related to the nature of truth and the existence of things and also related to someone's right/bad behavior. With the existence of philosophical schools in Islamic education, it can have implications for the development of the Islamic education curriculum by creating new innovations related to curriculum development. Because the existence of philosophical schools in Islamic education can also solve existing problems in the field of education
