Abstract

The research aims to determine the implementation of SIP (sholeh, ilmuwan, peminpin) charater instilling as a characteristic of characters building at SDIT Alam Nurul Islam Dua Ngawi. The research was a qualitative study with case study research. This research used purposive technique with the subject consisted of the third to fifth grade, and SIP teacher, and informant were the vice principals, assistens principil for student, and the expert teacher specially for the character builder (SIP Teacher). The data collected by observation, documentation, and interview. The research?s result show that the instilling of SIP character can also be done proactively through the development of Islamic culture in school. The development of islamic culture in school must be carried out continuously by school comunity so that the detemined character can be achieved properly. The development of islamic school culture is know as the SIP culture (sholeh, scientist, and leaders) wich is made as a characteristic of the caracter building at SDIT Alam Nurul Islam Dua Ngawi. The implementation of SIP character instilling at SDIT Alam Nurul Islam Dua Ngawi is carried out through continuously activity such as prayer congrecationally in mosque, memorizing holy qur?an, reciting and writing holy qur?an, memorizing selected hadits, reciting Al Ma?surat, marketday, islamic scouting, pencak silat, outbond, outing class, gardening, farming, spontaneous activity example reward or punishmen etc.

Abstract

The Qur'an is the holy book of Muslims which was revealed by Allah to the Prophet Muhammad shalallahu 'alaihi wa sallam through the intermediary of the angel Gabriel. Talking about the Qur'an today, there are still people who can't read fluently or even can't read it at all. This is due to a lack of interest in studying the Qur'an more deeply. In addition, time constraints are the cause of the lack of studying the Qur'an. On the other hand, there are phenomena in the school environment such as students who do not yet have a love for the Qur'an. To overcome this is to pay attention to methods that are appropriate for their age level. This study aims to (1) determine the learning of the Qur'an using the wafa method at SDN Pengkol 1 mantingan Ngawi, (2) to determine the advantages and disadvantages of the wafa method. This study uses a qualitative description. The results of the research and discussion show that studying the Qur'an with the Wafa method is very suitable and fun with maximum results. Although, besides the wafa method, there are other methods that are much more varied. However, the results of implementing this wafa method make it easier for children to learn and memorize the Qur'an

Abstract

Masalah limbah plastik bukanlah menjadi hal baru yang muncul di era sekarang ini, masalah   limbah plastik bahkan   sudah   ada sejak zaman dekade   lalu, dimana kapasitasnya semakin meningkat setiap tahunnya. Entah itu didominasi kemasan pangan maupun non pangan. Tak bisa dipungkiri, produk plastik memiliki keunggulan dibandingkan dengan produk lainnya, selain sifatnya yang tahan air, plastik juga ringan dan sangat fleksibel ketika digunakan. Tetapi dibalik semua keunggulan plastik, terdapat juga kelemahan dari plastik. Diantaranya adalah rusaknya lingkungan yang disebabkan karena sifatnya yang sulit terurai. Untuk itu, perlu adanya penanganan yang efektif dari limbah plastik, salah satunya adalah mendaur ulang menjadi barang lain, contoh yang dapat diambil adalah memanfaatkan limbah sedotan untuk membuat hiasan dinding, pelatihan ini dipilih karena belum banyaknya kreatifitas yang muncul dari pemanfaatan limbah sedotan, dan diharapkan masyarakat Dusun Kenteng mampu mengolah limbah plastik menjadi barang yang bernilai ekonomi.Kata kunci: Limbah Plastik

Abstract

This study aims to find out 1) the values of children's characters contained in the Dunia Kecil novel, 2) the implications of children's character values in Dunia Kecil novel on the development of literacy.This research uses library research, a research that makes library materials as a source of reference. The primary source of this research is Dunia Kecil novel by Yoyon Indra Joni while the secondary sources of this research include books, journals or other library materials that support the research and strengthen the theory. Documentations are used as a data collection method. Triangulation techniques are used to test the validity of the data. And content analytics to analyze the data.The results of the study obtained that the values of children's characters in Dunia Kecil novel are: 1) perseverance, 2) initiative, 3) researching (curiosity), 4) leadership, and the implications of the values of children's characters in Dunia Kecil novel have enormous implications on the development of literacy Because through the implantation of characters in the novel, it is able to grow children's motivation in developing reading skills and understanding the readings being studied, then it can be said that character values ​​and literacy are likened to an interconnected circle. Abstract

This paper delves into the concept of knowledge as portrayed in the Quran, utilizing the perspective of Majid Irsan al Kailany, a renowned Islamic scholar known for his profound works in philosophy and Islamic education. The primary objective is to elucidate the Quranic viewpoint on knowledge, its purpose, sources, and implications, as interpreted by Majid Irsan al Kailany. The study employs a qualitative approach, analyzing relevant Quranic verses and interpreting them through the lens of Majid Irsan al Kailany's scholarly works, particularly his treatise on Islamic philosophy and education. The analysis involves identifying key themes related to knowledge, exploring their significance, and understanding their implications in the context of Islamic teachings. The analysis reveals several key findings. Firstly, the Quran underscores the importance of knowledge as a means to draw closer to Allah, emphasizing its spiritual dimension. Secondly, the Quran is depicted as a comprehensive source of knowledge encompassing various aspects of life and the universe, beyond mere moral guidance. Thirdly, belief in Allah and the Quran is highlighted as a fundamental prerequisite for the pursuit and acquisition of knowledge. Lastly, a profound understanding and practical application of Quranic teachings are deemed essential in obtaining beneficial knowledge. The study concludes that according to Majid Irsan al Kailany's perspective, the Quran promotes knowledge as a spiritual endeavor to understand the greatness of Allah and His creation. It emphasizes the Quran's role as a multifaceted source of knowledge and underscores the importance of belief, deep understanding, and practical application of its teachings in acquiring beneficial knowledge for human life.

Abstract

Moral education is a fundamental aspect of Islamic education, aimed at developing individuals with virtuous character and integrity. Imam Nawawi's Kitab Nashaih Al-'Ibad is a classical Islamic text that provides profound insights into moral education. Understanding these insights is crucial for enhancing contemporary Islamic education. This study aims to explore and analyze the concept of moral education from Imam Nawawi's perspective as presented in Kitab Nashaih Al-'Ibad. The research employs a library research methodology, with Kitab Nashaih Al-'Ibad as the primary reference and various other books and studies on Imam Nawawi's educational perspectives as secondary references. Data was collected through thematic analysis of the primary text and comparative analysis with existing literature on Islamic and moral education. Findings, The study identifies five key principles of moral education according to Imam Nawawi: sincerity (ikhlas), humility (tawadu), patience (sabar), gratitude (syukur), and self-accountability (muhasabah). These principles are highly relevant to contemporary Islamic education, offering a holistic approach that integrates moral and academic development. Comparisons with previous studies and theories highlight the universal relevance and applicability of these principles. Conclusion, Imam Nawawi's principles provide a robust framework for moral education that can significantly contribute to the development of virtuous individuals in the modern educational context. Effective implementation requires collaborative efforts among educators, communities, and stakeholders. Recommendations: It is recommended that these principles be integrated into the curriculum, teacher training programs, and community involvement initiatives. Further research is encouraged to explore practical applications and impacts of these principles in diverse educational settings.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools have agreed that the prohibition on bringing electronic devices into the Islamic boarding school environment is not permitted. This prohibition aims to avoid having a negative impact on students in terms of using gadgets. This aims to reduce changes in social behavior that occur among students due to the switch to gadgets. The aims of this research are (1) to determine the form of social change in students with the support of gadgets. (2) knowing students' efforts in responding to social changes in gadgets. Then, this research is field research, the method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings in this research are: First, forms of social change in santri include decreased discipline, spiritual development, disruption of sleep patterns, frequent leaving of Islamic boarding school without permission from administrators, reduced social interaction, reduced enthusiasm for learning, and decreased morale to learn. enthusiasm for work. Second, the efforts of teachers/kyai in responding to social change among students, including as educators, leaders, motivators and facilitators. This research can then be used as a reference for other Islamic boarding schools that are facing technological challenges. When technology is used as a medium for student learning, educators must ensure that the Islamic religious values and traditions that underlie education in Islamic boarding schools are not neglected.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the design of student moral learning at SDIT Alam Nurul Islam Dua Ngawi. This research is qualitative research with a case study type of research. This research used a purposive technique with the research subjects being the homeroom teacher and the supervisor, and the informants were the school principal, curriculum teacher, student affairs teacher, SIP supervisor, and student guardians. Data collection through observation, documentation and interviews. The results of the research show that the student moral learning design at SDIT Alam Nurul Islam Dua Ngawi is implemented in several ways, namely: integrating into all subjects which can be seen in the weekly learning plan, developing school culture through familiarizing Islamic activities in the school environment, extracurricular activities namely by always instilling commendable morals into every extracurricular activity, and community-based design by establishing class councils and school committee boards as concepts and correctors for school development activities and instilling student morals.

Abstract

One of the efforts of madrasas to improve the quality of education is through superior programs because this activity has an important role in improving the management of madrasas that are dynamic, innovative, and full of ideas in shaping the development of students’ character who have religious values. This research is (1) to determine the application of superior programs in instilling religious values in students. (2) describe the implications of instilling religious values in students. The focus of this research was carried out at MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Malang, East Java. This research is field research; the type used is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques (observation, interviews, documentation) were carried out on 25 informants through “Focus Group Discussion” (FGD). First, the process of implementing this superior program is carried out through various religious activities, forming an implementation schedule; coaching activities through homeroom teachers; exemplary values; and evaluating rewards/punishments as well as coordinating the institution with the homeroom teacher. This program aims to foster an Islamic environment, develop religious character, and integrate Islamic values into students’ daily lives. Second, the implications of this superior program can strengthen character, such as worship habits; provide guidance and motivation to students; strengthening morality, honesty, justice; building cooperation, mutual respect; build discipline, responsibility, and get closer to Allah SWT. Therefore, schools must continue to consider the long term so that the contribution of implementing superior programs in creating students’ religious values can be increased more effectively.

Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this study is to discover and describe the form of innovation in Islamic religious learning that uses digital media/social media as an effective and relevant learning medium in keeping with the demands of technological developments. This study also investigates Islamic Religious Education (PAI) activities in using technology that inspires learning through social media applications. Design/methods/approach – This study used a literature research method with a qualitative approach. Research data was collected from a variety of sources, including books, scientific journals, proceedings, and other relevant publications. This study used a data analysis paradigm that included data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. Findings – The researcher obtained five (5) types of social media applications used by PAI teachers. The study is also restricted by vulnerable years limited to 2019-2023. Accordingly, the social media used by PAI teachers in learning have included (1) Tik-Tok (6 journals), (2) YouTube (10 journals), (3) WhatsApp (9 journals), (4) Facebook (6 journals), and (5) Instagram (5 journals) with a total of 36 journals. PAI teachers have played a role in education transformation by utilizing technology as a more interactive, accessible, effective, and compelling learning medium. Research implications/limitations – The data sources obtained were only limited to online scientific literature. Therefore, the researcher's suggestion for future researchers is to conduct practice field research to allow more accurate results according to the conditions of problems in the field. Originality/Value – The findings of this study provide an overview of the form of learning innovation that has been carried out in PAI learning with the use of digital media. This finding is also a reference for future researchers to make it easier to find a novelty result.
