Abstract

ABSTRACT   This study aims to determine the relationship between the implementation of Qur'an memorization and the Arabic language learning achievement of 7th-grade students at SMPIT Cordova 2 Panongan, Tangerang. The background of this research is the correlation between Qur'an memorization and Arabic achievement, as Arabic is the main language used to understand the content of the Qur'an. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The research sample consisted of 40 seventh-grade students, with data collection techniques including questionnaires, observation, and documentation.The results show a strong and significant relationship between the implementation of Qur'an memorization and Arabic learning achievement, as evidenced by the Pearson correlation test with a coefficient value of 0.626 and a significance value of < 0.001. However, the Spearman correlation test between the level of Qur'an memorization and Arabic report card grades indicates a positive but not significant relationship, with a coefficient value of 0.280 and a significance of 0.081. This suggests that the quality of Qur'an memorization implementation has a greater influence on learning achievement than the quantity of memorization alone.This study concludes that the implementation of Qur'an memorization can contribute positively to Arabic language learning achievement, particularly in terms of motivation, discipline, and vocabulary mastery. However, academic achievement remains influenced by various other factors beyond memorization. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penerapan hafalan Al-Qur’an terhadap prestasi belajar Bahasa Arab siswa kelas VII di SMPIT Cordova 2 Panongan Tangerang. Latar belakang pada penelitian ini yaitu adanya keterkaitan antara penerapan hafalan Al-Qur’an terhadap prestasi bahasa Arab sebagai bahasa utama dalam memahami isi Al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 40 siswa kelas VII, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang kuat dan signifikan antara penerapan hafalan Al-Qur’an dan prestasi belajar Bahasa Arab, yang dibuktikan melalui uji korelasi Pearson dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,626 dan signifikansi yaitu < 0,001, Namun uji korelasi Spearman antara tingkat hafalan Al-Qur’an dan nilai rapor Bahasa Arab menunjukkan hubungan positif tetapi tidak signifikan dengan nilai koefisien 0,280 dan signifikansi 0,081. hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa kualitas penerapan hafalan Al-Qur’an lebih berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar dari pada jumlah hafalan semata, Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan hafalan Al-Qur’an dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap prestasi belajar Bahasa Arab khususnya dalam hal motivasi, kedisiplinan, dan penguasaan kosakata, namun prestasi belajar tetap dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor lain di luar hafalan. .
