Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of aerobic exercise on the improvement of VO₂ Max in PKP-PK personnel at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport. Physical fitness, particularly VO₂ Max, is a crucial factor in supporting the readiness of PKP-PK personnel to handle emergency situations. Aerobic exercises, including activities such as jogging, aerobics, and cycling, were selected as a method to enhance cardiovascular fitness. The results indicate that aerobic exercise has a positive impact on increasing VO₂ Max, although there are challenges in maintaining consistent exercise due to duty schedules, weather conditions, and personnel motivation. Based on interviews and observations, it was concluded that structured aerobic exercise can enhance the physical endurance of PKP-PK personnel, which is vital to support their performance in emergency tasks. Therefore, it is recommended to improve education, training facilities, and more regular scheduling to optimize the benefits of aerobic exercise.

Abstract

Bandar Udara Budiarto memiliki runway, taxiway, dan apron dengan perkerasan lentur (flexible) dan PCN 37 F/C/X/T. Perkerasan lentur bersifat elastis, dalam hal ini aspal, sementara perkerasan rigid menggunakan beton dan memiliki sifat yang lebih kaku. Dengan peningkatan pergerakan pesawat, evaluasi kondisi perkerasan runway menggunakan Pavement Condition Index (PCI) diperlukan untuk menentukan tingkat kondisi permukaan perkerasan. PCI adalah pengujian visual yang membantu dalam pemeliharaan dan perbaikan perkerasan jika diperlukan. Hasil dari survey PCI Runway 12-30 di Bandar Udara Budiarto bernilai sebesar 99.10 termasuk dalam kategori “baik”, menunjukkan bahwa permukaan perkerasan runway masih dalam kondisi baik secara fungsional. Serta dalam pengujian menggunakan peralatan Super Heavy Weight Deflectometer (HWD) pada Runway 12-30 di Bandar Udara Budiarto yang memperoleh data defleksi secara keseluruhan pada centerline, tiga meter sisi kiri dan tiga meter sisi kanan landas pacu sehingga dapat melakukan evaluasi yang memperoleh data Radius of Curvature (RoC), Base Layer Index (BLI), Middle Layer Index (MLI) dan Lower Layer Index (LLI). Sehingga dari data Pavement Condition Index, Radius of Curvature (RoC), Base Layer Index (BLI), Middle Layer Index (MLI) dan Lower Layer Index (LLI) dapat diperoleh Rekomendasi penanganan pada landas pacu Budiarto yaitu “Pemeliharaan Rutin dan Rehab Mayor pada titik tertentu”

Abstract

Budiarto Airport has a runway, taxiway, and apron with flexible pavement and a PCN of 37 F/C/X/T. Flexible pavement is elastic, in this case asphalt, while rigid pavement uses concrete and is more rigid. With the increase in aircraft movements, an evaluation of the runway pavement condition using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) is necessary to determine the condition of the pavement surface. PCI is a visual test that assists in the maintenance and repair of pavements when necessary. The results of the PCI survey of Runway 12-30 at Budiarto Airport were 99.10, which is classified as “good,” indicating that the runway pavement surface is still in good functional condition. This is one of the safety factors in aviation, namely the condition of the runway. The more aircraft that operate, the more rubber deposits accumulate on the runway. This causes the runway to become slippery, which can cause aircraft to skid because the brakes cannot work effectively. To avoid the risk of accidents, regular checks of runway skid resistance are necessary. There are several methods that can be used to check the condition of runway friction, one of which is using a MuMeter device. Based on the tests that have been carried out and based on Government Decree No. 94 of 2015 in classifying the damage and roughness experienced on the runway at Budiarto Airport, recommendations for handling the Budiarto runway can be obtained, namely “Major Rehabilitation (overlay or similar methods)”.
