<![CDATA[ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kuis di awal pembelajaran berbantuan media Quizizz pada model Discovery Learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Soppeng pada materi pokok termokimia. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah posttest only control group design. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan simple random sampling dan terpilih kelas XI MIPA 3 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas XI MIPA 1 sebagai kelompok kontrol yang masing-masing berjumlah 35 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar, kuis di awal pembelajaran dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan teknik analisis inferensial. Hasil analisis deskriptif kelompok eksperimen diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar yaitu 80,971 dan kelompok kontrol 71,100. Hasil analisis statistik inferensial terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik menunjukkan data kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol berasal dari populasi yang homogen tetapi tidak terdistribusi normal. Oleh karena data yang tidak terdistribusi normal, maka uji hipotesis yang digunakan yaitu uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil uji hipotetsis diperoleh nilai Zhitung > Ztabel (3,707 > 1,64). Hal ini menunjukkan pemberian kuis di awal pembelajaran berbantuan media Quizizz pada model Discovery Learning berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Soppeng studi pada materi pokok termokimia. Kata kunci: Kuis, Quizizz, Discovery Learning, Hasil BelajarABSTRACTThis research is a quasi-experimental research that aims to determine the effect of giving quizzes at the beginning of learning assisted by Quizizz media in the Discovery Learning model on the learning outcomes of class XI MIPA students at SMA Negeri 2 Soppeng on the subject matter of thermochemistry. The research design used was the posttest only control group design. The research sample used simple random sampling and selected class XI MIPA 3 as the experimental group and class XI MIPA 1 as the control group, each of which consisted of 35 people. The research instruments used were learning achievement tests, quizzes at the beginning of learning and learning implementation observation sheets. This study uses descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential analysis techniques. The results of the descriptive analysis of the experimental group obtained an average learning outcome of 80.971 and that of the control group was 71.100. The results of inferential statistical analysis of student learning outcomes show that the experimental group and control group data come from populations that are homogeneous but not normally distributed. Because the data is not normally distributed, the hypothesis test used is the Mann-Whitney test. The results of the hypothesis test obtained Zcount > Ztable (3.707 > 1.64).
