Abstract

The phenomenon of female university students visiting nightclubs often triggers negative societal labeling that shapes their identity and social position. This study aims to explore the motivations behind such behavior, the forms of stigma received, and the psychological and social impacts experienced. Employing a qualitative approach with purposive sampling. data were collected through in-depth interviews with three student informants (X, Y, Z) and supported by additional community informants.    The data were analyzed using a thematic analysis framework to identify recurring patterns of meaning. The findings reveal that motivations include curiosity, peer influence, entertainment needs, and coping mechanisms for academic or family-related stress. The students experience stigmatizing labels such as “party girl” or “immoral,” which contribute to feelings of shame, insecurity, and social withdrawal. Due to the limited number of key informants, the findings cannot be generalized but provide an in-depth understanding of the social victimization experienced by these students. The study highlights how societal stigma functions as a form of secondary victimization that impacts their well-being and social interactions.

Abstract

Penyalahgunaan narkotika di kalangan remaja masih menjadi permasalahan serius yang memerlukan pendekatan preventif berbasis edukasi. Rendahnya literasi anti-narkoba di kalangan siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Kabupaten Pelalawan, serta terbatasnya jangkauan program penyuluhan yang dilakukan oleh Badan Narkotika Nasional Kabupaten (BNNK) Pelalawan, menjadi latar belakang pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi anti-narkoba melalui kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi dan BNNK Pelalawan dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan interaktif. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi survei awal dan analisis kebutuhan, sosialisasi program, penyuluhan interaktif, pelatihan peer educator, pengembangan media edukasi digital, serta monitoring dan evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada tingkat pemahaman siswa mengenai jenis, dampak, dan pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkotika. Selain itu, terbentuknya peer educator di sekolah mitra meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam kampanye anti-narkoba berbasis teman sebaya. Pengembangan media edukasi digital turut memperluas jangkauan literasi sesuai dengan karakteristik generasi muda. Kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi dan BNNK Pelalawan juga memperkuat sinergi lintas sektor dalam program pencegahan narkoba berbasis sekolah. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa, tetapi juga membangun kesadaran kritis dan ketahanan sosial remaja terhadap ancaman narkotika secara berkelanjutan.
