Implementasi green economy dalam perspektif ekonomi syariah, The green economy is a sustainable development concept that emphasizes resource efficiency, emission reduction, and environmental quality improvement. In the perspective of Islamic economics, this concept strongly aligns with the principles of sustainability, balance (mīzān), and human responsibility as khalifah on earth. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the green economy from the viewpoint of Islamic economics and to identify Islamic values that support environmentally friendly economic practices. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature studies from books, national journals, and previous research findings. The results indicate that the green economy is in harmony with Sharia principles such as the prohibition of israf (wastefulness), the obligation to preserve the environment (hifz al-bi’ah), and the importance of equitable economic distribution. The implementation of the green economy within Islamic economics can be actualized through the development of renewable energy, Sharia-based green financing, eco-halal industry, and the optimization of zakat and productive waqf funds for environmental programs. This study affirms that Islamic economics possesses strong normative and operational foundations to support sustainable development through green economic practices and while encouraging greater community participation, policy integration, and innovation that strengthen environmental stewardship and long-term economic resilience in Muslim societies
