Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menyelesaikan konflik interpersonal pada siswa SMP di Kota Surabaya. Konflik interpersonal merupakan bagian dari dinamika sosial remaja yang apabila tidak dikelola dengan baik dapat mempengaruhi hubungan sosial dan iklim belajar di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan 100 siswa kelas IX dari salah satu SMP di Surabaya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket kemampuan menyelesaikan konflik interpersonal yang terdiri dari 15 butir pertanyaan, dengan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,716. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif melalui perhitungan mean, standar deviasi, dan kategori tingkat kemampuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 21% siswa memiliki kemampuan menyelesaikan konflik pada kategori rendah, 63% pada kategori sedang, dan 15% pada kategori tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa masih berada pada tahap menengah dalam mengelola konflik interpersonal di lingkungan sekolah. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar bagi guru bimbingan dan konseling untuk mengembangkan program layanan yang berfokus pada peningkatan keterampilan sosial dan penyelesaian konflik secara konstruktif di kalangan remaja sekolah menengah pertama.

Abstract

Premarital counseling plays an important role in preparing prospective couples to build a harmonious and resilient family life. This study aims to examine the role and effectiveness of premarital counseling in enhancing marriage readiness and supporting the formation of a sakinah, mawaddah, and warahmah family. This study employed a literature review method by analyzing 15 peer-reviewed journal articles indexed in SINTA 3–5 published between 2020 and 2025, focusing on premarital counseling and marriage readiness. The findings indicate that premarital counseling significantly contributes to improving couples’ understanding of marital roles, communication skills, readiness to face conflicts, and the internalization of religious and psychosocial values. These results suggest that premarital counseling plays a strategic role in strengthening marriage readiness and family resilience. Therefore, systematic and continuous implementation of premarital counseling is essential as a preventive effort to reduce marital conflict and divorce while fostering harmonious and resilient family life.

Abstract

Santri psychological well-being is an important aspect of pesantren (Islamic boarding school) education, as it supports students’ adaptation, emotional stability, and engagement in daily activities. Teacher support is often considered a key factor in shaping positive psychological outcomes in educational settings. However, empirical evidence within the pesantren context remains limited. This study examines whether teacher support has a measurable effect on santri psychological well-being at Alif Laam Miim Islamic Boarding School, Surabaya. This study employed a quantitative approach using an explanatory survey design involving 118 santri selected through a census sampling technique. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires measuring teacher support and psychological well-being. The instruments demonstrated acceptable internal consistency. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression following classical assumption testing. The results indicate that teacher support has a positive but statistically non-significant relationship with psychological well-being (p = 0.535 > 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.003) and the negative adjusted R² value suggest that teacher support provides minimal explanatory value within the model. These findings indicate that teacher support does not have a measurable effect on santri psychological well-being in this context. The study highlights the importance of considering psychological well-being in pesantren as a multidimensional construct shaped by a combination of internal and external factors, including personal resilience, peer relationships, and institutional context.
