Abstract

The dynamics of organizational communication present new challenges for Generation Z, particularly regarding communication behavior within organizations. This study examines the influence of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) syndrome and inclusive communication on the well-being and performance of Generation Z employees. Using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method, data were collected through questionnaires from 99 Generation Z employees. Results show that inclusive communication significantly and positively influences well-being (path coefficient 0.751) and performance (path coefficient 0.466). Conversely, FOMO syndrome has a positive but weaker influence on well-being (path coefficient 0.157) and performance (path coefficient 0.146). Cronbach's Alpha values for all variables were above 0.7, indicating good reliability of the research instruments. These findings underscore the importance of inclusive communication in improving employee well-being and performance, and the necessity of managing FOMO syndrome to prevent negative impacts.
