Abstract

In the national industrial sector, good and competent workers are needed, so it is necessary to increase worker productivity so that a company can compete with other companies. Productivity is a comparison between output and input relating to a person's ability to complete work based on the specified time. Factors that influence work productivity are the physical condition or nutritional status of a worker. Education can increase knowledge, attitudes and healthy living behavior. Providing nutrition education can be done using various media such as auditive, visual and audiovisual media. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of nutritional education media (brochures, videos & fans) on increasing knowledge and attitudes towards balanced nutrition on worker productivity. Quasi experimental research with a pretest and post-test group design. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. The research sample consisted of 30 respondents. The results of the Paired Sample T-test show the influence of nutrition education media on increasing knowledge and attitudes about balanced nutrition on the productivity of PT. Based on the results of the paired sample t-test, it is known that there is a significant influence of providing nutrition education (brochures, videos and fans) on increasing knowledge and attitudes towards balanced nutrition on worker productivity.

Abstract

Abstrak Anemia pada ibu hamil merupakan masalah kesehatan di dunia dengan angka prevalensi 41,8%. Prevalensi anemia pada ibu hamil di Indonesia mencapai 27,7%. Anemia pada ibu hamil dapat meningkatkan risiko komplikasi hingga kematian pada ibu dan bayi.Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan edukasi untuk mengubah persepsi, menanggulangi kekhawatiran terkait efek samping, serta menekankan dampak positif tablet tambah darah (TTD) bagi kesehatan ibu dan perkembangan janin. Dengan meningkatkan kepatuhan konsumsi TTD melalui edukasi yang efektif dan interaktif, diharapkan angka prevalensi anemia pada ibu hamil dapat ditekan secara signifikan. Mitra kegiatan ini adalah Puskesmas Adiarsa Karawang yang memiliki cakupan TTD 100 % dengan kejadian anemia ibu hamil bulan April 2025 terdapat 16,2%. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh 30 peserta yang terdiri dari  petinggi Desa, bidan desa, kader, dan 15 orang ibu hamil. Tim pengabdi berkejasama dengan ahli gizi Puskesmas Adiarsa, Bidan Desa, dan bersama kader-kader Posyandu untuk mengedukasi ibu-ibu tentang pentingnya konsumsi TTD. Hasil kegiatan ini terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan ibu hamil tetntang pentingnya konsumsi TTD untuk mencegah dan menanggulangi anemia. Kata kunci: anemia; edukasi; ibu hamil; kepatuhan konsumsi TTD; pengetahuan. Abstract Anemia in pregnant women is a global health problem with a prevalence of 41.8%. The prevalence of anemia in pregnant women in Indonesia reaches 27.7%. Anemia in pregnant women can increase the risk of complications and even death for both the mother and the baby. The purpose of this community service is to provide education to change perceptions, address concerns regarding side effects, and emphasize the positive impact of iron tablets (TTD) on maternal health and fetal development. By increasing compliance with TTD consumption through effective and interactive education, it is hoped that the prevalence of anemia in pregnant women can be reduced significantly. The partner for this activity is the Adiarsa Karawang Community Health Center which has 100% TTD coverage with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in April 2025 at 16.2%. This activity was attended by 30 participants consisting of village officials, village midwives, cadres, and 15 pregnant women. The community service team collaborated with Adiarsa Community Health Center nutritionists, Village Midwives, and Posyandu cadres to educate mothers about the importance of TTD consumption. The results of this activity were an increase in knowledge among pregnant women about the importance of consuming iron tablets to prevent and treat anemia Keywords: anemia; education; pregnant women; compliance with iron supplement consumption; knowledge.
