<![CDATA[This study evaluates the development and use of Video Material-Based (VMB) learning media in improving students’ conceptual understanding. By utilizing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach following the PRISMA guidelines, this study synthesizes findings from various research articles published between 2018 and 2024. The analysis reveals that VMB significantly enhances conceptual comprehension, increases learning motivation, and supports independent learning. The visual and auditory components of VMB enable students to process information more effectively, while interactivity and structured explanations strengthen long-term retention. However, its effectiveness is influenced by media quality, instructional design, and students’ digital literacy. The results highlight the importance of well‑designed VMB to maximize learning outcomes. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan mengacu pada pedoman PRISMA terhadap artikel‑artikel yang terbit antara tahun 2018 hingga 2024. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa VMB mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, motivasi belajar, serta mendukung pembelajaran mandiri. Komponen visual dan audio dalam VMB membantu mahasiswa memproses informasi secara lebih efektif, sementara penyajian materi yang terstruktur mampu memperkuat retensi jangka panjang. Meski demikian, efektivitas VMB dipengaruhi oleh kualitas media, desain instruksional, serta literasi digital peserta didik.
