<![CDATA[21st century education requires mastery of 4C competencies (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication). This study conducted a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 15 scientific articles which were obtained through searching the Google Scholar database within the 2015 to 2024 timeframe, to analyze the effectiveness of Project-Based Learning (PBL) in developing these competencies. The results of the review show that PBL is significantly effective in improving students' 4C skills at various levels and is relevant for preparing graduates to face the VUCA Era and Society 5.0. However, the implementation of PBL still faces challenges such as the need for adequate teacher training and limited resources. The implications of this study emphasize the need for structured strategies and increased teacher capacity to optimize the integration of PBL in learning. Penelitian ini melakukan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) terhadap 15 artikel ilmiah yang diperoleh melalui penelusuran pada basis data Google Scholar dengan rentang waktu 2015 hingga 2024, untuk menganalisis efektivitas Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PBL) dalam mengembangkan kompetensi tersebut. Hasil tinjauan menunjukkan bahwa PBL terbukti efektif secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan 4C siswa di berbagai jenjang, serta relevan untuk mempersiapkan lulusan menghadapi Era VUCA dan Society 5.0. Namun, implementasi PBL masih menghadapi tantangan seperti kebutuhan pelatihan guru yang memadai dan keterbatasan sumber daya. Implikasi penelitian ini menekankan perlunya strategi yang terstruktur dan peningkatan kapasitas guru guna mengoptimalkan integrasi PBL dalam pembelajaran.
