Abstract

Abstrak: Pengelolaan mangrove di pesisir menghadapi tantangan terkait penurunan kualitas ekosistem dan terbatasnya pemanfaatan ekonomi bagi masyarakat lokal. Integrasi AI menjadi penting karena mampu menganalisis data lingkungan secara real-time untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang cepat dan akurat dalam menjaga keberlanjutan ekosistem. Pengabdian ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan pengelolaan mangrove berbasis Artificial Intelligence (AI) untuk mendukung ekosistem dan meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat. Metode yang diterapkan mencakup sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi AI dan IoT, pendampingan serta evaluasi, dan rencana keberlanjutan program, bekerja sama dengan Kelompok Tani Hutan Mangrove beranggotakan 15 orang. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui analisis SWOT dan gap, serta observasi langsung terhadap keterampilan dan pengelolaan mangrove. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan anggota kelompok, dengan rata-rata peningkatan softskill 35% dan hardskill 40%, serta peningkatan nilai ekonomis produk mangrove sebesar 30%. Pendekatan ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi AI dapat meningkatkan keberlanjutan ekosistem dan kesejahteraan masyarakat pesisir. Abstract: Coastal mangrove management faces challenges related to declining ecosystem quality and limited economic benefits for local communities. AI integration is crucial because it can analyze environmental data in real time to support rapid and accurate decision-making in maintaining ecosystem sustainability. This community service program aims to optimize Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based mangrove management to support the ecosystem and improve the community's economy. The methods implemented include outreach, training, the application of AI and IoT technology, mentoring and evaluation, and a program sustainability plan, in collaboration with a 15-member Mangrove Forest Farmers Group. The evaluation was conducted using a qualitative approach through SWOT and gap analysis, as well as direct observation of mangrove skills and management. The results showed an increase in group members' skills, with an average increase in soft skills of 35% and hard skills of 40%, as well as a 30% increase in the economic value of mangrove products. This approach proves that AI integration can improve ecosystem sustainability and the welfare of coastal communities.
