Abstract

Abstrak: Penggunaan teknologi dalam pertanian terus berkembang untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi. Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh Kelompok Tani Aroma Arabika adalah keterbatasan dalam memantau kondisi tanaman kopi secara efisien di lahan yang luas. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah mengenalkan dan menerapkan teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) yang terintegrasi dengan drone untuk pemantauan tanaman kopi, meningkatkan keterampilan (hardskill) mitra dalam pengoperasian drone dan sistem AI serta softskill dalam pengelolaan data, analisis informasi, dan pengambilan keputusan berbasis teknologi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan bersama Kelompok Tani Kopi Jenetallasa yang beranggotakan 23 orang dan berdomisili di Desa Jenetallasa, Kabupaten Jeneponto, melalui beberapa tahapan: sosialisasi program, pelatihan penggunaan drone dan sistem AI, implementasi teknologi di lapangan, pendampingan intensif, evaluasi, serta penyusunan rencana keberlanjutan program. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan observasi dengan pendekatan kualitatif menggunakan analisis SWOT dan analisis GAP. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan anggota kelompok, yaitu 78% peningkatan softskill dan hardskill, serta peningkatan efisiensi pemantauan lahan yang berdampak pada kenaikan nilai ekonomis hingga 35%. Program ini mendorong petani untuk lebih adaptif terhadap teknologi dan membuka peluang pengembangan pertanian berbasis digital.Abstract: The use of technology in agriculture continues to evolve to increase productivity and efficiency. One of the challenges faced by the Aroma Arabica Farmers Group is the limited ability to efficiently monitor coffee crop conditions across large areas. The purpose of this community service is to introduce and implement Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology integrated with drones for coffee crop monitoring, while simultaneously improving partners' hard skills in operating drones and AI systems, as well as soft skills in data management, information analysis, and technology-based decision-making. This activity was carried out with the Jenetallasa Coffee Farmers Group, which has 23 members and is domiciled in Jenetallasa Village, Jeneponto Regency, through several stages: program socialization, training on drone and AI system use, technology implementation in the field, intensive mentoring, evaluation, and preparation of a program sustainability plan. The evaluation was conducted through questionnaires and observations with a qualitative approach using SWOT analysis and GAP analysis. The results showed an increase in group members' skills, namely a 78% increase in soft skills and hard skills, as well as an increase in land monitoring efficiency that has an impact on increasing economic value of up to 35%. This program encourages farmers to be more adaptive to technology and opens up opportunities for digital-based agricultural development.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengelolaan mangrove di pesisir menghadapi tantangan terkait penurunan kualitas ekosistem dan terbatasnya pemanfaatan ekonomi bagi masyarakat lokal. Integrasi AI menjadi penting karena mampu menganalisis data lingkungan secara real-time untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang cepat dan akurat dalam menjaga keberlanjutan ekosistem. Pengabdian ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan pengelolaan mangrove berbasis Artificial Intelligence (AI) untuk mendukung ekosistem dan meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat. Metode yang diterapkan mencakup sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi AI dan IoT, pendampingan serta evaluasi, dan rencana keberlanjutan program, bekerja sama dengan Kelompok Tani Hutan Mangrove beranggotakan 15 orang. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui analisis SWOT dan gap, serta observasi langsung terhadap keterampilan dan pengelolaan mangrove. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan anggota kelompok, dengan rata-rata peningkatan softskill 35% dan hardskill 40%, serta peningkatan nilai ekonomis produk mangrove sebesar 30%. Pendekatan ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi AI dapat meningkatkan keberlanjutan ekosistem dan kesejahteraan masyarakat pesisir. Abstract: Coastal mangrove management faces challenges related to declining ecosystem quality and limited economic benefits for local communities. AI integration is crucial because it can analyze environmental data in real time to support rapid and accurate decision-making in maintaining ecosystem sustainability. This community service program aims to optimize Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based mangrove management to support the ecosystem and improve the community's economy. The methods implemented include outreach, training, the application of AI and IoT technology, mentoring and evaluation, and a program sustainability plan, in collaboration with a 15-member Mangrove Forest Farmers Group. The evaluation was conducted using a qualitative approach through SWOT and gap analysis, as well as direct observation of mangrove skills and management. The results showed an increase in group members' skills, with an average increase in soft skills of 35% and hard skills of 40%, as well as a 30% increase in the economic value of mangrove products. This approach proves that AI integration can improve ecosystem sustainability and the welfare of coastal communities.
