Abstract

This study aims to develop and implement a web-based Library Information System as a means to enhance literacy within the Kampoeng Baca Pelangi (KBP) Community. The system is designed to simplify library data management processes that were previously performed manually, including book cataloging, member registration, borrowing, returning, and the generation of operational reports. The development process follows the Waterfall method, starting from requirement analysis, system design, implementation, up to system testing. The results indicate that the system successfully meets the primary needs of the library administrators, based on feasibility testing involving internal KBP respondents. Evaluation through a Likert-scale questionnaire produced a score of 94%, indicating that the system falls into the “Highly Feasible” category for use. Features such as book data management, borrowing/return transaction processing, collection search, and report generation are proven to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of library operations.

Abstract

KUB ZIAE Sembalun Bumbung is a souvenir center located on the main tourist route of Sembalun, offering products such as black garlic, organic red rice, Rinjani coffee, and dried beans. However, this business faces challenges including weak brand identity, low visibility, and the absence of digital presence. Limited digital literacy among managers also results in reliance on conventional promotion methods. This community service program aimed to enhance KUB ZIAE’s competitiveness through two key strategies: (1) strengthening offline visual identity with signboards, banners, and product labels; and (2) developing digital assets such as Google Business Profile, Instagram, and Facebook accounts, along with content creation training. A participatory approach was applied, including needs assessment, co-design, intensive training, and on-site mentoring. The results showed improved business visibility with the installation of signboards and banners, while new product labels increased consumer trust. On the digital side, the Google Business account successfully appeared in search results, Instagram posts reached hundreds of accounts, and members gained skills in creating and managing promotional content. Although challenges remain, such as limited digital literacy and internet connectivity, the intervention effectively enhanced visibility, expanded market reach, and strengthened KUB ZIAE’s image as a leading souvenir center in the Rinjani tourism area

Abstract

AbstractCorrupt practices in the university environment are still a serious challenge in realizing campus governance with integrity, considering that universities are strategic spaces in the formation of the character of the younger generation. This community service activity aims to develop and implement an anti-corruption cultural education program based on participatory learning as an effort to strengthen student accountability attitudes. The target partners of the activity were students from three faculties at universities, with a total of 120 participants who were selected purposively. The method of implementing activities in the form of training and educational assistance which was carried out for eight weeks through a participatory learning approach, included the delivery of conceptual materials, contextual case studies, reflective discussions, simulations of ethical decision-making, and individual reflection. Evaluation of activities is carried out through the measurement of accountability attitudes before and after the implementation of activities using validated instruments. The results showed an increase in the average score of student accountability attitudes from 3.42 in the initial stage to 4.15 in the final stage (scale 5), with a difference of 0.73 points in a statistically significant increase (p < 0.01). An increase occurred in the indicators of honesty, responsibility, transparency, and courage to report. These findings show that participatory learning-based anti-corruption culture education activities are effective in strengthening student accountability and supporting the development of a culture of integrity and good campus governance. Keywords: anti-corruption education; accountability; gratuities; participatory learning; colleges.
