Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing use of social media among students of STAI KH. Muhammad Ali Shodiq, which has not yet been fully optimized as a learning resource. Although social media holds great potential in supporting digital learning, several problems persist, such as low levels of digital literacy, a lack of lecturer guidance in academic use of social media, and a tendency among students to focus more on entertainment rather than educational content. This study aims to analyze students’ patterns of social media use, the types and forms of educational content utilized, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors within the context of modern Islamic learning. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving active students from various study programs. The findings reveal that social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and WhatsApp have become effective alternative learning sources, particularly in enhancing students’ understanding of Islamic materials and academic communication. Students have also begun to act as producers of simple educational content, although they still face challenges in information curation and maintaining digital learning discipline. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of the role of lecturers and institutions in integrating social media into Islamic value-based learning strategies to foster a reflective, creative, and digitally literate learning culture.

Abstract

Early childhood education management plays a strategic role in improving the quality of learning in Early Childhood Education (ECE) institutions. Learning quality is not determined solely by teacher competence but also by how educational processes are systematically and sustainably managed. This study aims to examine early childhood education management as an effort to enhance learning quality. The research employed a qualitative approach using a library research design. Data were collected through a review of books, scholarly journal articles, previous research findings, and policy documents relevant to ECE management. Data collection was conducted through documentation studies, while data analysis employed content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that the implementation of educational management encompassing planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation of learning significantly contributes to improving the quality of early childhood learning. Effective educational management is able to create learning experiences that are well-directed, enjoyable, and aligned with children’s developmental needs.

Abstract

The problem of cyberbullying in Islamic school environments is increasingly prevalent alongside the rapid development of digital technology and the high use of social media among students. This phenomenon not only affects students’ psychological well-being but also reflects weak moral development in understanding digital ethics and humanitarian values. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of Islamic educational institutions in preventing cyberbullying through the integration of Qur’anic values and Lawrence Kohlberg’s theory of moral development. This research employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach by examining various scholarly sources related to Islamic education, moral development, and cyberbullying prevention. The findings reveal that Islamic educational institutions hold a strategic role in enhancing students’ moral development—from the pre-conventional to the post-conventional level—through strengthening moral curriculum, cultivating digital ethics, promoting teacher role modeling, and integrating media literacy into learning activities. The implications of this study emphasize that cyberbullying prevention must be carried out in a preventive, systematic, and sustainable manner by creating an educational ecosystem grounded in spiritual, moral, and universal ethical values, thereby shaping a generation that is wise, civilized, and responsible in navigating the digital world.
