Abstract

The objectives of this study were to: (1) increase students' interest in learning; (2) to improve the learning outcomes of the X category TKR students of SMK Muhammadiyah Piyungan and the student learning outcomes of automotive engineering. This research is a classroom action research which includes three cycles, each cycle includes four stages, namely: an action plan; implementation of actions; observation and reflection. The purpose of this study was 22 students of class X TKR SMK Muhammadiyah Piyungan. The purpose of this research is to carry out activities and study the results of basic automotive engineering work. Using observation, testing and annotation data collection techniques. The data analysis technique uses quantitative analysis to determine the percentage of student activity and learning outcomes. The results showed that the application of the contextual learning model could increase the interest and learning outcomes of the TKR X SMK Muhammadiyah Piyungan students in the automotive engineering field. Keywords: Learning Model; Contextual Teaching and Learning; Learning Activity; Learning outcomesBahwasannya penelitian tersebut bertujuan: (1) mengoptimalkan minat belajar siswa; (2) meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa TKR SMK Muhammadiyah Piyungan kategori X dan hasil belajar teknik otomotif siswa. Konsep penelitian berupa tindakan kelas tiga siklus, dengan empat tahapan, yaitu: rencana tindakan; pelaksanaan tindakan; observasi dan refleksi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 22 siswa kelas X TKR SMK Muhammadiyah Piyungan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melaksanakan kegiatan dan mempelajari hasil pekerjaan teknik otomotif dasar. Menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, pengujian dan anotasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif untuk mengetahui persentase aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwasannya penerapan model pembelajaran kontekstual memiliki andil didalam meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa TKR X SMK Muhammadiyah Piyungan bidang teknik otomotif.Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran; Contextual Teaching and Learning; Keaktifan Belajar; Hasil Belajar

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of a good and quality engine cooling system E-module. This research development model has four steps, including the preliminary study step, the development step, the field test step and the deployment step. The e-Module teaching materials were evaluated from two material experts and two media experts then tested on 16 XI TKR students of SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping. The collection of respondents used is a questionnaire / questionnaire Likert scale model of four coverage options. the acquisition of material expert score of 3.36 is included in the "very good" category, the acquisition of data from media experts of 3.26 is classified in the "feasible" category, the acquisition of field tests of 3.41 is classified as "very good" The number of respondents obtained by material experts, media experts, and field testing obtained an average score of 3.35 from the acquisition of a maximum score of 4 so that it was included in the category of "very feasible / very good"Keywords: Floating E-Module, Learning Media, Machine Cooling SystemAbstrak: Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui kelayakan E-modul sistem pendingin mesin yang baik dan berkualitas. Model penelitian pengembangan ini terdapat empat langkah, diantaranya langkah studi pendahuluan, langkah pengembangan, langah tahap uji lapangan dan langkah penyebaran. Bahan ajar e-Modul dievaluasi dari dua ahli materi dan dua ahli media selanjutnya diujicobakan pada 16 siswa XI TKR SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping. Pengumpulan responden yang di pakai adalah kuesioner/angket skala Likert model empat cakupan pilihan. perolehan nilai ahli materi sebesar 3,36 termasuk dari kategori “sangat layak”, perolehan data ahli media sebesar 3,26 tergolong pada kategori “layak”, perolehan uji lapangan sebanyak 3,41 tergolong pada kategori “sangat baik”, jadi rata-rata jumlah dari perolehan responden oleh ahli materi, ahli media,dan uji lapangan memdapatkan rata-rata skor sebanyak 3,35 dari perolehan skor maksimal 4 sehingga masuk kategori dari  “sangat layak/sangat baik”Kata Kunci : Pengembangan E-modul, Media Pembelajaran, Sistem Pendingin Mesin
