Abstract

Pemiilihan faktor eksposi sangat berpengaruh terhadap nilai Exposure Index yang merupakan berhubungan dengan dosis paparan. Selain itu, pemilihan faktor eksposi berpengaruh juga terhadap noise, oleh karena itu perlu dilakukannya pemilihan faktor eksposi yang tepat, sehingga dapat menghasilkan dosis paparan yang optimal dan nilai noise yang minimum. Salah satu pemeriksaan radiologi yang memerlukan kualitas citra yang baik adalah pemeriksaan Abdomen proyeksi Antero Posterior (AP). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis nilai exposure index terhadap faktor eksposi optimum menggunakan 10 kVp Rule of Thumb pada pemeriksaan radiologi Abdomen proyeksi AP di Instalasi Radiologi Rumah Sakit Pelabuhan Cirebon. Metode penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan observasi, menggunakan sampel berjumlah empat orang laki-laki yang berumur sekitar 50-55 tahun dengan index massa tubuh 24,0-25,0 Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah pasien yang dilakukan pemeriksaan Abdomen proyeksi AP. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan instrument lembar observasi ceklist, kemudian analisis yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif. Hasil pada penelitian ini adalah pemilihan faktor eksposi 70 kVp dan 20 mAs yang menghasilkan rata-rata nilai dari lembar observasi yang tertinggi, nilai exposure index yang termasuk kategori batas rentang yang diajurkan, dan memiliki nilai noise yang minimum. Saran pada penelitian ini yaitu, untuk menghasilkan visual anatomi yang baik dengan dosis yang optimal sebaiknya radiografer melakukan pemilihan faktor eksposi untuk pemeriksaan abdomen khususnya proyeksi AP menggunakan faktor eksposi 70 kVp dan 20 mAs.Kata kunci: Abdomen; Exposure Index; Faktor Eksposi AbstractThe selection of exposure factors is very influential on the Exposure Index value which is related to exposure dose. In addition, the selection of exposure factors also affects noise, therefore it is necessary to select the right exposure factor, so as to produce optimal exposure doses and low noise value. One radiological examination that requires good image quality is the Antero Posterior (AP) Abdominal Projection. The purpose of this study was to determine the value of the optimum exposure factor in the use of the 10 kVp Rule of thumb method in the Abdominal radiology examination of AP projection of the exposure index value at the Radiology Installation of Cirebon Pelabuhan Hospital in 2023.This research method is quantitative descriptive with an observational approach, using a sample of four men aged around 50-55 years with a body mass index of 24.0-25.0 conducted at Cirebon Pelabuhan Hospital from April to May 2023. The subjects in this study were patients who underwent AP projection abdominal examination. The data collection method used is observation and documentation, then the analysis used is descriptive statistics.The result of this study is the selection of exposure factors of 70 kVp and 20 mAs which produce the highest average value of the observation sheet, the exposure index value which is included in the recommended range limit category, and has a minimum noise value. The suggestion in this study is, to produce a good visual anatomy with an optimal dose, radiographers should select exposure factors for abdominal examination, especially AP projections using exposure factors of 70 kVp and 20 mAs.Keywords: Abdomen;Exposure Index; Exposure Factor

Abstract

Patient safety culture is a fundamental component of delivering high-quality, safe, and patient-centered healthcare services. A strong patient safety culture contributes to reducing adverse events, improving healthcare quality, and establishing a sustainable healthcare system. However, its implementation continues to face several challenges, including underreporting of incidents, limited human resources, excessive workload, and insufficient organizational support. This study aimed to analyze the factors influencing patient safety culture in healthcare settings using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The literature search followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) 2020 guidelines and was conducted through PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, and SpringerLink, covering publications from 2021 to 2025. Article selection was performed using the PICOS framework, resulting in ten eligible studies for analysis. The findings indicate that patient safety culture is influenced by leadership commitment, open communication, effective teamwork, organizational learning, non-punitive incident reporting systems, adequate human resources, and patient engagement. Conversely, a blame culture, heavy workloads, shortages of healthcare professionals, and low incident reporting remain major barriers to implementation. Strengthening patient safety culture therefore requires organizational commitment through leadership development, capacity building for healthcare professionals, fostering a learning culture, and continuous evaluation to improve healthcare quality and minimize patient safety incidents.
