Abstract

The inventory management in Bukit Subur Merangin Village is still conducted manually, leading to potential errors and delays in data handling. This study aims to design a web-based inventory information system using the SDLC Waterfall model methodology. The system was developed using PHP programming language, MySQL database, and CSS for interface design. System modeling was performed using Unified Modeling Language (UML). The development stages included requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The results indicate that the designed system improves efficiency and accuracy in village inventory management and facilitates user access through a web-based platform. System testing using the Black Box method showed valid results for all tested features.

Abstract

Perpustakaan Universitas Merangin Masih Mengandalkan Sistem Manual Yang Menimbulkan Inefisiensi Dalam Pengelolaan Koleksi, Peminjaman, Dan Aksesibilitas Di Era Digital. Penelitian Ini Bertujuan Merancang Sistem Informasi Perpustakaan Digital (Sipd) Berbasis Role-Based Access Control (Rbac) Untuk Meningkatkan Keamanan Dan Efisiensi Operasional. Metodologi Pengembangan Mengadopsi Model Sdlc V-Model Yang Menekankan Verifikasi Dan Validasi Secara Iteratif, Didukung Diagram Uml (Use Case, Class, Dan Activity Diagram) Untuk Pemodelan Sistem. Implementasi Dilakukan Menggunakan Bahasa Pemrograman Php Dengan Database Mysql Serta Integrasi Rbac Untuk Mengatur Hak Akses Berdasarkan Peran Pengguna (Admin, Pustakawan, Mahasiswa, Dosen).Hasil Pengembangan Menghasilkan Prototipe Sipd Yang Mendukung Katalog Digital, Peminjaman Online, Notifikasi Real-Time, Dan Laporan Analitik, Dengan Kepatuhan Penuh Terhadap Standar Keamanan Rbac. Pengujian Black-Box Menunjukkan Akurasi Fungsional 95%. Sistem Ini Direkomendasikan Untuk Adopsi Di Perpustakaan Universitas Serupa Guna Mendukung Transformasi Digital.

Abstract

The advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has created new opportunities within the educational sector; however, the ability to utilize it effectively remains a challenge for many students. This community service program aims to train students from SMP N 47 Merangin in crafting effective AI prompts to enhance their self-directed learning processes. The training session took place on January 13, 2025, involving 30 students from grades 7, 8, and 9. The implementation methods included interactive lectures, demonstrations, and guided practice, spanning a total of four hours. Evaluation results indicated a 40.1% increase in participants' understanding, as evidenced by the comparison of pre-test and post-test scores, with a satisfaction rate of 90%. Participants successfully developed their skills in creating effective prompts across various subjects. Technical challenges, such as internet connectivity and differing baseline abilities among participants, were addressed through adaptive solutions. This program has positively impacted the development of students' digital skills and reinforced technology-based learning in the school environment. Recommendations for future development include expanding the program's scope, increasing the duration of practice sessions, and establishing a continuous mentoring system.
