Abstract

The North Boulevard Road and Canal Project in the South Petals area is a project that has been under construction since June 2024 and is the main route for the Paramount Petals neighborhood. This project has a work time agreement of 120 normal days. For this reason, it is very important for the project to be completed on time or faster and not experience delays. In this final project, an analysis of project acceleration is carried out using the Critical Path Method scheduling method to determine the activities that are on the critical path and the Program Evaluation and Review Technique to determine the probability that the project can be completed on time. Based on the analysis carried out, it was found that the CPM duration is 120 days with the probability that it can be completed in 120 days is 50.38%. Then the results of the acceleration analysis using the Time Cost Trade Off method show that the optimal project duration is 100 working days with a normal reduction of Rp. 76,604,480.00 in addition to 1 hour of overtime work.

Abstract

The construction project of Ruko Sapphire – Cimanggis Golf Estate experienced several delays, resulting in discrepancies between the planned schedule outlined in the S-Curve and the actual conditions in the field. These delays were caused by technical issues with the reinforcement fabrication machine, inconsistencies between structural and architectural stair drawings, rescheduling of concrete casting due to weather and the availability of a concrete pump truck. This study aims to analyze the project scheduling using two methods: the Critical Path Method (CPM), to identify the critical path and determine the minimum project duration, and the Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT), to estimate optimistic, most likely, and pessimistic time durations as well as the probability of completing the project on schedule. The research was conducted using a descriptive quantitative approach with primary data (observations and interviews) and secondary data (S-Curve). The results show that both CPM and PERT provide consistent, realistic, and accurate duration estimates, helping contractors identify critical activities, reduce the risk of delays, and provide a more reliable basis for project time planning.

Abstract

This research on a building construction project in the Central Business District (CBD) Batavia PIK Jakarta aims to analyze the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) in the project, focusing on identifying the practices of this quality management system, the challenges faced, and its impact on project quality outcomes. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with a survey approach. The research results show how the effective implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) can improve the quality of construction projects, reduce the risk of errors, and increase stakeholder satisfaction. However, challenges exist, such as a lack of understanding of QMS principles among workers and resistance to change from some parties. This research also found that top management involvement and adequate employee training are key factors in the successful implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS). Recommendations include developing continuous training programs and improving communication among all stakeholders to support more effective QMS implementation in the future.
