Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of integrating digital supervision and the adaptive approach to strengthening Professional Knowledge in Use (PKiU) and enhance teacher professionalism in junior high schools within the Society 5.0 era. A descriptive qualitative approach with a multi-site case study design was used. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis, then analysed thematically to explore supervisory practices in three junior high schools. Integrated digital and adaptive supervision accelerates reflective practices, delivers personalized guidance, and fosters applicable PKiU development. Effectiveness depends on digital infrastructure, leadership, and culture, with challenges including digital literacy gaps and bureaucratic barriers. This study benefits educational management, teacher professional development, supervision policy design, and technology integration in schools, especially in contexts adopting Society 5.0 principles and digital transformation in education. The study introduces a hybrid supervision model combining digital tools with adaptive approach, providing a flexible, context-sensitive framework tailored to diverse teacher needs and digital literacy levels, advancing theory and practice in modern educational supervision.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of quality management in Sekolah Penggerak schools based on the pesantren (Islamic boarding school) system and its potential contribution to student learning outcomes at the secondary education level. Using a systematic literature review, the study synthesizes evidence from previous research to identify patterns in how quality management practices are applied within pesantren-based schools. Four key thematic areas emerged: transformational leadership of school principals, integration of pesantren values into the curriculum, ongoing monitoring and evaluation of educational processes, and teacher professional development programs. Transformational leadership was frequently associated with supportive and motivating school environments, while the integration of pesantren values emphasized moral, ethical, and spiritual formation alongside academic learning. Continuous quality management practices, including assessment and feedback mechanisms, were highlighted as common strategies for improving instructional quality. The review also identified challenges such as limited infrastructure, human resource constraints, and variability in stakeholder engagement. These findings suggest that adopting structured, value-informed quality management practices may support holistic student development and provide insights for blended religious-secular educational reforms. The study underscores the importance of collaborative approaches among educators, students, parents, and communities in sustaining quality improvement.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase the self-paced learning of international/outbound students, Increase the agility of outbound student, and education-project entrepreneurship especially in National University of Laos (NUOL). This research use action research approach. This research was conducted for international student with 38 students from the Economic and Business faculties at NUOL.  The data technique with On-In-On through a duo approach system, namely online and offline with locations in two countries, Indonesia and Laos with data collection technique in this research uses an unstructured questionnaire. Data processing and analysis techniques use Tabulating. The results of the study show that outbound student can improve self-paced learning by design model learning based Business Model Canvas (BMC) in higher education can implementing design their own business. This design model is effective strategy in synergizing the era of digital system contributions in building independent learning and increasing the entrepreneurial spirit of outbound students who have to survive in higher education.
