Abstract

Animal food that is suitable for consumption must be safe, nutritious, contamination-free, and halal. Squid (Loligo sp) is a carnivorous animal that is widely found in Langgula Village, Batudaa Pantai District, Gorontalo Regency and is a leading commodity with an average catch of 450 kg/month or 15 kg/day. One of the threats to the quality of squid is the pollution of the heavy metal cadmium (Cd) which is toxic, cannot be degraded naturally, and easily accumulates in marine organisms, thus potentially endangering human health and ecosystems through the processes of bioconcentration, bioaccumulation, and biomagnification. This study aims to identify the heavy metal content of cadmium (Cd) accumulated in squid (Loligo sp) in Langgula Village, Batudaa Pantai District, Gorontalo Regency. The type of research used is quantitative research using a descriptive approach method aimed at describing the content of Cd in squid. Samples were obtained from four collection points. The analysis of the content of Cd used the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) method. The results showed that the heavy metal content of cadmium (Cd) contained in squid (Loligo sp) at point 1 was 0.182 mg/kg, at point 2 as much as 0.114 mg/kg, at point 3 as much as 0.278 mg/kg, and at point 4 as much as 0.385 mg/kg. These results show that the heavy metal content of cadmium (Cd) in squid (Loligo sp) exceeds the quality standard according to the Food and Drug Control Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BPOM) Number 23 of 2017, which is 0.10 mg/kg, so it is not safe for consumption. The results of the research are expected to be considered for local governments and communities in managing fishery resources, preventing pollution, and educating the public about the dangers of heavy metals to health and can use natural ingredients to reduce the Cd content in squid before processing.

Abstract

Limbah cair sablon dihasilkan dari pencucian screen sablon dan peralatan cetak yang digunakan setelah proses penyablonan. Limbah cair sablon mengandung kromium (Cr) yang mencemari lingkungan dan membahayakan makhluk hidup. Fitoremediator, yakni penggunaan tanaman untuk menyerap pencemar, menjadi solusi untuk mengurangi dampak ini. Kayu apu memiliki akar lebat yang efektif menyerap logam berat, sedangkan kangkung air tumbuh cepat dan umum digunakan dalam fitoremediasi.Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui perbedaan efektivitas tanaman kayu apu dan kangkung air sebagai fitoremediator dalam menurunkan kadar logam berat Cr pada limbah cair Indsutri Sablon Nokturnal di Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Jenis penelitian eksperimen semu dengan pendekatan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) menggunakan variasi waktu (11, 13, dan 15 hari). Sampel limbah diambil menggunakan teknik grab sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Kruskal-Wallis dan uji Mann Whitney dengan tingkat kesalahan (?) sebesar 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tanaman kayu apu efektif menurunkan kadar Cr pada limbah cair industri sablon dengan efektivitas tertinggi hari ke 15 sebesar 2,23%. Tanaman kangkung air juga efektif menurunkan kadar Cr pada limbah cair industri sablon sebesar 9,68% hari ke 15. Dengan demikian, kangkung air lebih efektif dibandingkan kayu apu. Kesimpulannya tidak ada perbedaan variasi waktu terhadap efektivitas tanaman kayu apu (p-value = 0,368) dan tanaman kangkung air (p-value = 0,368). Ada perbedaan efektivitas tanaman kayu apu dan kangkung air sebagai fitoremediator dalam menurunkan kadar Cr pada limbah cair indsutri sablon nokturnal (p-value = 0,043). Disarankan untuk menambah jumlah tanaman dan waktu kontak yang lebih lama untuk mengoptimalkan proses fitoremediasi pada tanaman kayu apu dan kangkung air.

Abstract

Sedentary behavior is a sedentary behavior characterized by energy expenditure ?1.5 MET (Metabolic Equivalent of Task) such as when in a sitting or lying position. Some common sedentary behaviors include lying down or sitting for a long time, when playing social media, watching movies or videos, or playing games. Peer influence also plays an important role in shaping students' habits and behaviors. Students who do not get support from peers are more likely to behave passively. The purpose of the study was to analyze the relationship between social media use and peer support and sedentary behavior in SMA 3 Negeri Gorontalo. A type of quantitative research with a correlational approach, the research population of all grade XI students amounted to 438 students with a sample of 209 respondents. Data analysis used the spearman rank test. The results of the study were obtained as many as 166 respondents (79.4%) experienced high sedentary behavior, students with the level of social media use alert as many as 139 respondents (66.5%), for peer support was in the high category as many as 163 respondents (78.0%). In conclusion, there was a relationship between social media use and sedentary behavior (pvalue 0.000<0.05), strong relationship strength, r = 0.661, there was a relationship between peer support and sedentary behavior (p-value = 0.000<0.05), moderate relationship strength r = 0.550. Suggestions for students to be wiser in using social media and remind each other in friend groups to do activities that involve physical movements so that sedentary habits can be reduced.

Abstract

Barang Milik Daerah merupakan kekayaan daerah yang dapat menjadi jaminan bagi pembangunan daerah, apabila dikelola dan dipelihara dengan baik dapat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sistem pengelolaan barang milik daerah di Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Gorontalo. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode In-depth interview atau wawancara mendalam. Sumber dan data penelitian ini terdiri dari informan kunci yaitu kepala sub bagian kepegawaian dan umum, informan biasa pengelola barang milik daerah dan informan pendukung pengurus pengelola barang milik daerah. Instrument penelitian ini menggunakan pedoman wawancara, perekam suara dan handphone. Hasil penelitian untuk pembukuan barang milik daerah di Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Gorontalo sudah menggunakan aplikasi SIMDA BMD, untuk inventarisasi barang milik daerah sudah terkoordinir langsung oleh kepala SKPD dan untuk pelaporan barang milik daerah pengguna barang menggunakan aplikasi SIMDA BMD untuk mempermudah pelaporan semesteran dan tahunan. Selesainya proses pembukuan maka laporan barang pada kartu inventarisasi barang dapat dicetak melalui aplikasi SIMDA BMD dan ditandatangani oleh kepala SKPD. Simpulan penelitian mengenai analisis pengelolaan barang milik daerah di Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Gorontalo bahwa penyusunan pengelolaan barang milik daerah, untuk pembukuan barang milik daerah sudah menggunakan aplikasi SIMDA BMD, untuk inventaris barang milik daerah sudah terkoordinir langsung oleh kepala SKPD, untuk pelaporan barang milik daerah sudah dilakukan oleh pengurus barang ke BKAD.

Abstract

Dismenore adalah nyeri yang di rasakan oleh wanita usia produktif saat mengalami menstruasi yang terjadi di perut bagian bawah yang ditandai dengan rasa kram pada perut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan tingkat stres dan pola konsumsi makanan cepat saji dengan dismenore pada remaja putri di SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo. Metode penelitian digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas XI berjumlah 239 dengan Sampel penelitian berjumlah 150 responden. Analisis data menggunakan uji rank spearman. Hasil penelitian didapatkan sebagian besar siswi kelas XI di SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo mengalami tingkat stres sedang sebanyak 50 responden (33,3%), siswi yang sering mengonsumsi makanan cepat saji sebanyak 87 responden (58%), dan yang mengalami dismenore sedang sebanyak 72 responden (48%). Kesimpulan yakni ada hubungan tingkat stres dengan dismenore dengan (p value 0,000 < 0,005) dengan kekuatan hubungan cukup kuat yakni r = 0,440. Ada hubungan pola konsumsi makanan cepat saji dengan dismenore dengan (p = 0,000 < 0,005) dengan kekuatan hubungan kuat yakni r = 0,649. Saran penelitian, dapat menjadi gambaran dan pembelajaran bagi siswi untuk mengelola tingkat stres dan menerapkan pola hidup sehat dengan mengurangi mengonsumsi makanan cepat saji secara berlebihan untuk mengurangi risiko dismenore.

Abstract

Organic waste that is not managed quickly will create bad odors and cause disease. One way to reduce the weight of organic waste is to use black soldier fly larvae. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of black soldier fly larvae (Hermetia illucens) as a decomposer of organic waste at the Sabilurrasyad Food Court, Gorontalo State University. The type of research used is pre-experiment with a One-Shot Case Study design. The samples were vegetable organic waste, chicken waste and fish residue weighing 2500 grams each, as well as 250 grams of black soldier fly larval samples for each type of feed obtained using the purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used the Kruskal Wallis test with = 5% (0.05). The results showed that the larval growth rate of vegetable type was 10.58 grams, chicken residue -4 grams, leftover fish -4.3 grams and substrate consumption ability of vegetable type 66.60%, chicken residue 9.48%, fish residue 16.64% with the same data analysis results, namely p-value = 0.368 > 0.05. In conclusion, there was no significant difference in larval growth rate and substrate consumption ability for the type of vegetable waste, chicken leftovers and fish leftovers. It is recommended to carry out variations and combinations of feed as well as temperature and humidity measurements for more optimal growth of black soldier fly larvae and more effectively decomposing organic waste.
