This study aims to analyze intellectual ethics from Ibn Khaldun's perspective and its relevance to criticism of the moral crisis in academia in the digital era. This research uses a qualitative method with a library research approach to Ibn Khaldun's main work, Muqaddimah, as well as relevant secondary literature. The results of the study indicate that Ibn Khaldun emphasizes the importance of ethics in scholarly activities, such as honesty, discipline, the connection of knowledge with action, and social responsibility. These intellectual ethics are highly relevant to character education development in the modern era, especially in addressing the challenges of moral degradation, plagiarism, and academic integrity crises. Thus, Ibn Khaldun's thought can serve as a foundation to strengthen character-based Islamic education. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis etika intelektual dalam perspektif Ibn Khaldun serta relevansinya bagi kritik atas krisis moral akademik di era digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka (library research) terhadap karya utama Ibn Khaldun, Muqaddimah, serta literatur sekunder yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ibn Khaldun menekankan pentingnya etika dalam aktivitas keilmuan, seperti kejujuran, kedisiplinan, keterkaitan ilmu dengan amal, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Etika intelektual ini memiliki relevansi kuat dengan pengembangan pendidikan karakter di era modern, terutama dalam menghadapi tantangan degradasi moral, plagiarisme, dan krisis integritas akademik. Dengan demikian, pemikiran Ibn Khaldun dapat dijadikan dasar untuk memperkuat pendidikan Islam berbasis karakter.
