Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi waktu perendaman terhadap sifat-sifat campuran aspal Asphalt Concrete – Wearing Course (AC-WC) yang menggunakan limbah abu cangkang sawit sebagai filler. Metode penelitian ini adalah studi literatur dan pengujian laboratorium. Variasi abu cangkang sawit yang digunakan sebesar 0%, 2%, 4%, 6%, dan 8%, kemudian dilakukan pengujian Marshall serta perendaman pada variasi waktu (1 hari, 2 hari, dan 3 hari) untuk mengamati perubahan stabilitas dan durabilitas pada campuran. Hasil penelitian penambahan abu cangkang sawit sebagai filler pada campuran aspal AC-WC dengan variasi perendaman menunjukkan bahwa abu cangkang sawit pada variasi 4% dan 6% memberikan hasil terbaik pada semua durasi perendaman, baik 1, 2, dan 3 hari. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa abu cangkang sawit dapat meningkatkan daya tahan terhadap air dan kestabilan campuran aspal. Hingga pada durasi perendaman 3 hari campuran dengan variasi abu cangkang sawit 4% dan 6% tetap menunjukkan kinerja baik, menandakan bahwa abu cangkang sawit ini berkontribusi terhadap ketahanan air campuran aspal, juga mampu meningkatkan kinerja mekanis tanpa mengganggu keseimbangan antara agregat, filler, dan aspal. This study aims to determine the effect of variations in soaking time on the properties of the Asphalt Concrete – Wearing Course (AC-WC) asphalt mixture using palm kernel shell ash waste as a filler. The research method is literature study and laboratory testing. Variations of palm kernel shell ash used were 0%, 2%, 4%, 6%, and 8%, then Marshall tests and soaking at various times (1 day, 2 days, and 3 days) were carried out to observe changes in stability and durability of the mixture. The results of the study of the addition of palm kernel shell ash as a filler to the AC-WC asphalt mixture with variations in soaking time showed that palm kernel shell ash at variations of 4% and 6% gave the best results at all soaking durations, both 1, 2, and 3 days. This indicates that palm kernel shell ash can increase water resistance and stability of the asphalt mixture. Even at a soaking duration of 3 days, the mixture with variations of 4% and 6% palm shell ash still showed good performance, indicating that this palm shell ash contributes to the water resistance of the asphalt mixture, and is also able to improve mechanical performance without disturbing the balance between aggregate, filler, and asphalt.
