Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to test influence of islamic spiritual activities and discipline of congregational prayers on the religious character of students at state islamic senior high school in Pekanbaru city. This research is a field research with a quantitative approach, the sample of this research is the students of state Islamic senior high school in Pekanbaru city with a total of 220 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques use Linear and Multiple Regression. The results of this research indicate that Islamic Spiritual Activities have a significant influence on the Religious Character of state islamic senior high school in Pekanbaru city. This is indicated by the results of t count greater than t table (64.462 > 0.138) with a sig value. 0.000 < 0.05. With a large contribution of 3%. The discipline of Congregational Prayer has a significant influence on the Religious Character of state islamic senior high school. This is shown by the results of t count greater than t table (0.684 > 0, 138) with a sig. 0.000 < 0.05. With a large contribution of 46.8%. There is a significant influence of Islamic Spiritual Activities and Discipline of Congregational Prayers on the Religious Character of the Students of the state islamic senior high school in Pekanbaru city. This is indicated by the results of the value of f count > f table (97.446 > 0.138). with a large contribution of 53.2%. This means that the contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable is 53.2%.Copyright © 2018, AL-USWAH. All rights reserved

Abstract

Israiliyat is one of the elements frequently found in classical qur’anic exegesis literature. Its presence is closely related to the interaction between muslims and jewish-christian traditions, especially during the early period of islamic development. This study aims to examine the nature of israiliyat, its sources, and how exegetes respond to it in interpreting the qur’an. The method used is a library research approach with descriptive-analytical analysis of classical and contemporary tafsir works. The findings indicate that israiliyat can be categorized into three types: those consistent with islamic teachings, those that contradict them, and those whose authenticity is uncertain. Scholars have shown diverse attitudes, ranging from selective acceptance to total rejection. This study highlights the importance of a critical approach in dealing with israiliyat to avoid distortion in understanding the qur’an.

Abstract

  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tafsir Jalalain sebagai salah satu karya klasik dalam kajian Al-Quran dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui kajian pustaka dari naskah asli Tafsir Jalalain yang mendukungnya. Penelitian menguraikan mekanisme penafsiran yang digunakan oleh penulis, termasuk pendekatan linguistik dan kontekstual dalam menjelaskan ayat-ayat Al-Quran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tafsir Jalalain memiliki keunikan dalam penyajian materi yang ringkas namun padat makna serta mudah dipahami, yang menjadi nilai kebaharuan dalam konteks kajian tafsir saat ini. Pembahasan fokus pada relevansi tafsir ini terhadap pembelajaran Al-Quran di dunia pendidikan Islam, memberikan makna penting sebagai referensi pengajaran and penelitian lanjutan. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya khazanah ilmu tafsir dan menjadi sumber inspirasi bagi pengembangan metode pembelajaran Al-Quran yang lebih efektif.
