Abstract

Digital transformation has become a strategic necessity for organisations in improving effectiveness and performance quality, including in the field of tax administration. PT Indo Bismar, a company engaged in trade and tax services, has implemented various digital systems to support the acceleration of tax administration and reporting processes. This study aims to analyse the impact of digital transformation on the effectiveness and job satisfaction of employees in the Tax Division of PT Indo Bismar. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with two employees who are directly involved in the use of digital taxation systems. The data was analysed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of digital systems has a positive impact on accelerating the tax input and reporting processes, reducing the risk of administrative errors, facilitating work coordination, and increasing access to tax data. In addition, digital transformation also contributes to increased employee job satisfaction through easier task completion, lighter workloads, and greater comfort at work. However, there are still some technical obstacles related to system stability and the technology adaptation process. This study concludes that digital transformation plays an important role in increasing the effectiveness and job satisfaction of employees in the Tax Division of PT Indo Bismar. ABSTRAK Transformasi digital telah menjadi kebutuhan strategis bagi organisasi dalam meningkatkan efektivitas dan kualitas kinerja, termasuk dalam bidang administrasi perpajakan. PT Indo Bismar sebagai perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang perdagangan dan jasa perpajakan telah menerapkan berbagai sistem digital guna mendukung percepatan proses administrasi dan pelaporan pajak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh transformasi digital terhadap efektivitas dan kepuasan kerja pegawai Divisi Perpajakan PT Indo Bismar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam kepada dua orang pegawai yang terlibat langsung dalam pengguanaan sistem perpajakan digital. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem digital memberikan dampak positif terhadap percepatan proses penginputan dan pelaporan pajak, penurunan risiko kesalahan administratif, kemudahan koordinasi kerja, serta peningkatan akses terhadap data perpajakan. Selain itu, transformasi digital juga berkontribusi terhadap meningkatnya kepuasan kerja pegawai melalui kemudahan penyelesaian tugas, beban kerja yang lebih ringan, dan kenyamanan dalam bekerja. Meskipun demikian, masih ditemukan beberapa kendala teknis terkait kestabilan sistem dan proses adaptasi teknologi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa transformasi digital berperan penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas dan kepuasan kerja pegawai Divisi Perpajakan PT Indo Bismar.
