Abstract

This study aims to conceptually examine the management of educational facilities and infrastructure and its role in improving educational quality. The research adopts a qualitative approach using a library research design. Data were collected through a systematic review of relevant literature, including academic books, peer-reviewed journal articles, and educational regulations. The collected data were analyzed using a descriptive-analytical technique with an interpretative approach. The findings indicate that effective and efficient management of educational facilities and infrastructure—encompassing planning, procurement, utilization, maintenance, and disposal—significantly contributes to the creation of a conducive learning environment and the enhancement of instructional quality. Furthermore, school and madrasah leadership plays a strategic role in optimizing the management of educational facilities and infrastructure through professional decision-making and sustainable resource management. This study implies that achieving sustainable educational quality requires synergy between adequate facilities, professional management practices, and effective educational leadership. Strengthening managerial capacity and leadership commitment is therefore essential for improving institutional performance in educational settings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the utilization of digital media in enhancing students’ spiritual competence in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). The research is motivated by the increasing integration of technology in education, which needs to be balanced with the reinforcement of students’ spiritual values. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that PAI teachers have effectively used various digital media, including instructional videos, digital Qur’an applications, and interactive platforms such as Google Classroom, Canva, and Padlet, to facilitate learning. The use of digital media was found to enhance students’ religious awareness, spiritual reflection, and learning motivation. Nevertheless, challenges remain, such as limited teacher digital literacy and internet accessibility. Overall, digital media plays a significant role in strengthening students’ spiritual competence when integrated appropriately and grounded in Islamic values. The study recommends improving teachers’ digital competencies and developing a technology-based PAI learning model that incorporates value education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the management of local religious and Diniyah curriculum implementation in strengthening students’ religious character, while identifying its impacts, supporting factors, and challenges. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis in selected primary and secondary schools that implement local religious and Diniyah programs. Informants included school principals, teachers of local religious and Diniyah subjects, and students, selected using purposive and snowball sampling techniques. Data were analyzed interactively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing with verification. The findings indicate that the implementation of local religious and Diniyah curriculum is systematically integrated into intramural, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities, positively influencing students’ religious character, such as increased discipline in worship, honesty, responsibility, and social care. The successful implementation is supported by strong community religiosity, engagement of religious institutions, and educational policy. However, challenges remain, including limited qualified educators, infrastructure constraints, and students’ diverse religious backgrounds. Overall, the study highlights that effective management of local religious and Diniyah curriculum can serve as a model for character education based on Islamic values in broader educational contexts.

Abstract

This study assesses how infrastructure and amenities at MA Nurul Hidayah in Jambi contribute to creating a favorable learning environment. Through observation, interviews, and documentation, information was gathered from the principal of the school, instructors, and students using a descriptive qualitative method. The Miles and Huberman analytical technique was then used to examine the data. Adequate facilities greatly enhance students' comfort, focus, and motivation to learn, according to the research findings. Despite the fact that procurement planning has been incorporated through the BOS-funded ERKAM system, this study found challenges due to the building's physical state and the scarcity of digital equipment. The primary suggestions for the sustainability of an optimal learning environment are to enhance the quality of technology facilities and optimize facility management. Abstract

  In this study, the author intends to describe the role of the homeroom teacher in efforts to increase student learning interest at Jarinabi Elementary School. The author uses a qualitative approach and descriptive methods. Where, the data obtained are based on the results of observations, interviews, and documentation with informants principal, homeroom teacher, and students. Then the data obtained will be analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the data obtained, the results of this study indicate that a homeroom teacher has an important part in efforts to increase student learning interest through three main roles, namely as a class manager, motivator, and mentor. As a class manager, the homeroom teacher creates a conducive learning environment through classroom arrangement, as a motivator, the homeroom teacher fosters a spirit of learning through a variety of fun learning methods, providing verbal motivation, and appreciation to students. Also, as a mentor, the homeroom teacher can build personal relationships with students, help resolve academic and social-emotional problems, and have a good relationship with parents in terms of communication. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted, researchers can draw a conclusion that homeroom teachers have an important part and role, both in creating a comfortable, effective and enjoyable learning atmosphere so that they can help to increase students' interest in learning.
