Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi gizi seimbang kepada siswa sekolah dasar melalui pendampingan Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG). Fokus utama kegiatan adalah meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai jenis makanan bergizi, manfaat gizi bagi tubuh, serta membentuk kebiasaan makan sehat sejak dini. Sasaran kegiatan adalah siswa kelas III dan IV Sekolah Dasar. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi edukasi interaktif menggunakan media visual sederhana, pendampingan langsung saat kegiatan makan bersama MBG, serta evaluasi pemahaman siswa melalui observasi, tanya jawab, dan diskusi ringan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam tiga kali pertemuan yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi dan jadwal sekolah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep gizi seimbang, ditunjukkan melalui kemampuan siswa mengenali jenis makanan sehat dan menunjukkan sikap positif terhadap konsumsi makanan bergizi. Selain itu, siswa terlihat lebih antusias dan sadar akan pentingnya pola makan sehat. Kegiatan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa edukasi gizi seimbang melalui pendampingan Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) efektif dalam mendukung peningkatan kesadaran gizi siswa sekolah dasar serta memperkuat implementasi program MBG di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meal Program is implemented as a nutritional intervention aimed at improving students’ health and learning conditions, particularly in areas with limited access to nutritious food. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Free Nutritious Meal Program on the learning focus of Grade III and IV students at SD Kecil Salena. This research focuses on changes in students’ learning focus, including attention during lessons, activeness in classroom activities, and concentration endurance throughout the learning process after consuming nutritious meals. This study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The research subjects were Grade III and IV students at SD Kecil Salena who participated in the Free Nutritious Meal Program. Data were collected through structured observations of students’ learning focus behavior and questionnaires to identify students’ responses to learning activities after meal consumption. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to describe the level of students’ learning focus. The results show that the Free Nutritious Meal Program has a positive effect on students’ learning focus. Students demonstrated better attention, higher activeness, and improved learning readiness, especially during early learning sessions. It can be concluded that the Free Nutritious Meal Program plays an important role in supporting the learning process and improving the quality of learning among Grade III and IV students at SD Kecil Salena.
