Abstract

Dinamika pesantren modern dan perubahan karakter santri menuntut pola pengasuhan yang tidak hanya bersifat normatif, tetapi juga adaptif dalam membentuk kedisiplinan shalat berjama’ah. Permasalahan kedisiplinan ibadah yang masih ditemukan di lingkungan pesantren menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara tujuan pendidikan spiritual dan praktik keseharian santri. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran, strategi, serta faktor pendukung, kendala, dan solusi bagian pengasuhan santri dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan shalat berjama’ah di Pesantren Modern Tgk. Chiek Oemar Diyan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap pimpinan pesantren, ketua pengasuhan, wali kamar, dan santri, yang dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan pembinaan kedisiplinan shalat berjama’ah ditentukan oleh keteladanan pengasuh, kedekatan emosional, pembiasaan ibadah, serta pendekatan personal yang diterapkan secara konsisten. Strategi pengasuhan dikonstruksi melalui integrasi pendekatan preventif, edukatif, dan korektif dalam sistem pesantren yang religius dan terstruktur. Kendala utama meliputi rendahnya motivasi, kelelahan fisik, dan pengaruh lingkungan eksternal. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa strategi pengasuhan yang holistik dan humanis efektif menginternalisasi nilai disiplin shalat berjama’ah sebagai kesadaran spiritual santri, bukan sekadar kepatuhan terhadap regulasi institusional.The dynamics of modern Islamic boarding schools and changes in the character of students require a parenting style that is not only normative but also adaptive in shaping the discipline of congregational prayer. The problem of worship discipline that is still found in the pesantren environment shows a gap between the goals of spiritual education and the daily practices of santri. This study aims to analyze the role, strategies, as well as supporting factors, obstacles, and solutions of santri parenting in improving the discipline of congregational prayer at the Modern Pesantren Tgk. Chiek Oemar Diyan Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a qualitative approach with techniques of in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of the boarding school leadership, the head of student care, room supervisors, and students, which are analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the success of fostering discipline in congregational prayer is determined by the exemplary behavior of the caregivers, emotional closeness, the habit of worship, and a personal approach that is applied consistently. Parenting strategies are constructed through the integration of preventive, educational, and corrective approaches in a religious and structured pesantren system. The main obstacles include low motivation, physical fatigue, and external environmental influences. These findings confirm that holistic and humanistic parenting strategies are effective in internalizing the value of congregational prayer as a spiritual awareness of students, rather than mere compliance with institutional regulations.
