Abstract

This study aims to describe the model of Arabic grammar instruction using Al-Jurrumiyah with Qiyasiyah and Istiqraniyah approaches in the seventh-grade female class of Nurus Sunnah Islamic Boarding School, Tegal City. The background of this study is based on the importance of Arabic grammar mastery as a foundation for understanding Arabic texts in Islamic boarding schools, as well as the persistent difficulties faced by beginner students in comprehending and applying grammatical rules contextually. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative design. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis, and were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that Arabic grammar instruction using Al-Jurrumiyah applies the Qiyasiyah model by presenting grammatical rules at the beginning of the lesson followed by illustrative examples, while the Istiqraniyah model is implemented by introducing language examples prior to formulating grammatical rules. Both models are applied alternately according to the characteristics of the material and students’ abilities. Supporting factors include the systematic structure of the book and the active role of teachers, while inhibiting factors involve students’ varying initial competencies and limited instructional time. The study concludes that a balanced application of Qiyasiyah and Istiqraniyah models contributes positively to improving beginner students’ understanding of Arabic grammar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of students’ continuity in performing muroja’ah on the quality of Qur’anic memorization among fifth-grade students at Pondok Pesantren Nurus Sunnah Tegal. The background of this research is the variation in memorization quality among students despite having relatively similar amounts of memorized verses. This study employs a quantitative approach using a correlational method. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and memorization tests. The results indicate that there is a significant effect of muroja’ah continuity on the quality of Qur’anic memorization. The more consistent the students perform muroja’ah, the higher the quality of their memorization, as reflected in fluency, accuracy of tajwid, and memorization retention. This research is expected to serve as a reference for Qur’anic educational institutions in improving students’ memorization quality through continuous and structured muroja’ah practices.

Abstract

In today's era, with the rapid development of technology and culture, while it has significantly contributed to the advancement of globalization, many have also become problems for the current generation. In this regard, the application of religious values is actually very helpful in increasing understanding in daily life. As Muslims, we should be concerned about this issue. Therefore, the purpose of this journal is to support the implementation of noble etiquette for students at Qothrun Nada Islamic School. Therefore, the title "Implementation of Etiquette for Reading and Memorizing the Qur'an and the Formation of Qur'anic Character in Students at Qothrun Nada Islamic School" was chosen, with an analytical study.This research is a field research study using qualitative methods, with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The process of implementing the etiquette of memorizing the Qur'an is carried out over a week with activities such as ziyadah (adding new memorization) and muraja'ah (repetition). The method used for memorization is the Tasmi' method (listening and paying attention).

Write A This article aims to explore the concept of embodied pedagogy and teacher authority in the Hadith of Jibril as a response to the phenomenon of digital education disruption which tends to be disembodied (detached from physical interaction and values). This research fills a gap in the literature which has dominantly positioned the Hadith of Jibril within the theological realm. Using a qualitative approach with hermeneutic content analysis method, this study finds that the Jibril-Prophet interaction is not merely normative ethics, but a blueprint for knowledge transmission mechanisms requiring intellectual readiness and pedagogical intimacy (proxemics). The theoretical implications of this study offer a model for integrating tacit knowledge into the contemporary Islamic education curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam menanamkan nilai akhlak mulia pada siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Pulau Tello, strategi dan metode yang digunakan, serta kendala yang dihadapi beserta upaya pemecahannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan guru PAI, kepala madrasah, dan beberapa siswa, serta dokumentasi kegiatan sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI berperan sebagai teladan, fasilitator pengalaman moral, mediator sosial, dan penghubung antara sekolah dan orang tua, sementara strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan meliputi pembiasaan nilai, teladan, diskusi, role play, integrasi nilai akhlak ke mata pelajaran, serta kegiatan sosial-keagamaan. Kendala yang ditemui meliputi perbedaan latar belakang keluarga, pengaruh teman sebaya, motivasi siswa yang bervariasi, keterbatasan sarana, serta jumlah siswa yang banyak, namun upaya adaptif dan inovatif guru mampu mengatasi sebagian besar tantangan tersebut. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penanaman akhlak mulia membutuhkan pendekatan holistik, kolaboratif, dan berkelanjutan, sehingga siswa dapat menginternalisasi nilai moral secara efektif dan konsisten.
