Abstract

Integration between educators’ digital competence and human resource management (HRM) is essential in the era of digital transformation and hybrid learning; however, no existing study has clearly formulated such integration. Therefore, the aim of this research is to develop a strategic framework for integrating educators’ digital competence with HRM practices within hybrid learning environments during the digital transformation era. To achieve this objective, the study employs a qualitative approach through a systematic literature review using the PRISMA method. A total of 20 peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2020 and 2025 were analyzed from major databases, including Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science, IEEE Xplore, Garuda, and Sinta. The findings indicate that: (1) From the perspective of digital competence, teachers, lecturers, and learners must master pedagogical, reflective, and ethical skills to ensure that technology meaningfully supports the learning process; (2) In terms of HRM transformation, institutions need to strategically utilize artificial intelligence (AI), adopt metaverse-based learning spaces, and implement performance-based incentives; (3) The recommended integration strategy emphasizes synergy among three dimensions: strong individual digital competence, strategic and adaptive HRM, and their alignment within institutional policies and practices.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of entrepreneurship from theoretical, historical, and practical perspectives, with an emphasis on its application in education. The discussion begins with the development of entrepreneurship from prehistoric times, the agricultural revolution, the Middle Ages, the industrial revolution, and the digital era marked by technological advances and globalization. The main focus of this study is the concept of teacherpreneurship, which is the combination of the role of teachers as educators and entrepreneurs oriented towards creating educational innovation. Teachers with a teacherpreneurial spirit are expected not only to carry out their teaching function but also to act as agents of change through the development of ethical and sustainable educational businesses. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach, collecting data from books, journals, scientific articles, and relevant digital sources regarding entrepreneurship. The results of the analysis indicate that a comprehensive understanding of the theory and concept of entrepreneurship is crucial for implementation in the world of education, in order to create an adaptive, creative, and competitive learning system. Furthermore, entrepreneurship is understood broadly, starting from its definition, history, and multidisciplinary theories that emphasize the strategic role of entrepreneurs in creating value, innovation, and economic growth.
