Abstract

Abstract: Learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) on the topic of special characteristics of living things requires students’ active involvement through inquiry and direct experience. However, classroom practices are often dominated by lecture-based instruction with limited use of engaging learning media, resulting in low student achievement. This study aimed to improve IPAS learning outcomes through the implementation of an inquiry learning model supported by digital media for sixth-grade students at MI Babakan Kondang. The research employed a quantitative approach using a Classroom Action Research design conducted in two cycles. The participants were 11 students. Data were collected through pre-tests, post-tests, observations, and questionnaires, and analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results indicated that the mean pre-test score of 56.36 increased to 90.9 in Cycle I and 88.18 in Cycle II. Learning mastery improved from 0% at the initial stage to 90.91% in Cycle I and reached 100% in Cycle II. These findings demonstrate that inquiry-based learning supported by digital media is effective in improving IPAS learning outcomes and enhancing student engagement.Keywords: digital media; inquiry; learning outcomes Abstrak: Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) pada materi ciri-ciri khusus makhluk hidup menuntut keterlibatan aktif siswa melalui proses penyelidikan dan pengalaman langsung. Praktik pembelajaran di sekolah dasar masih didominasi metode ceramah dan minim pemanfaatan media pembelajaran yang menarik sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS melalui penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri berbantu media digital pada siswa kelas VI MI Babakan Kondang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 11 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pre-test, post-test, observasi, dan kuesioner, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan secara statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 56,36 meningkat menjadi 90,9 pada siklus I dan 88,18 pada siklus II. Persentase ketuntasan belajar juga meningkat dari 0% pada tahap awal menjadi 90,91% pada siklus I dan mencapai 100% pada siklus II. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri yang didukung media digital efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS serta mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa.Kata Kunci: media digital; inkuiri; hasil belajarÂ
