Abstract

Inisiasi Menyusu Dini merupakan pemberian Air Susu Ibu (ASI) kepada bayi dalam satu jam pertama setelah lahir, dimana bayi di letakkan di dada ibu dan membiarkan bayi sampai menemukan puting susu ibunya. Inisiasi menyusu dini penting dilakukan segera setelah lahir untuk mendorong keberhasilan ASI esklusif mempercepat timbulnya laktasi dan didukung oleh persepsi ibu serta peran aktif tenaga kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan persepsi ibu nifas dan dukungan bidan dalam pelaksanaan IMD dengan permulaan laktasi, menggunakan rancangan observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional . Populasi adalah ibu nifas di PMB Lili Ambarwati, Am.Keb sebanyak 36 orang dan semua dijadikan sampel (total sampling). Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square . Hasil penelitian menemukan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara persepsi ibu nifas terhadap pelaksanaan IMD dengan onset latasi dengan p-value 0.000 dan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan bidan terhadap pelaksanaan IMD dengan onset laktasi dengan p-value 0.001. Diharapkan bidan dapat memperkuat edukasi kepada ibu hamil mengenai pentingnya IMD dan menyusui ekslusif seja masa antenatal.

Abstract

In 2022, breast cancer will be the first most common cancer in the world with 2.3 million cases (11.7%). The incidence of breast cancer has increased by 1% from 2 million cases of breast cancer in 2020 to 2.3 million cases in 2022. The number of new cases of breast cancer was 68,858 cases (16.6%) out of a total of 396,914 new cases of cancer in Indonesia. With the number of deaths reaching more than 22.4 thousand cases, when compared with the death rate in 2020, there will be a decrease in the death rate due to breast cancer by around 1.4% in 2022 from 22.6 thousand deaths in 2020 to 22.4 thousand deaths in 2022. to determine the risk factors for breast cancer at Haji Adam Malik General Hospital, Medan in 2024. This research was a descriptive study with a cross-sectional design. Samples were taken using a simple random sampling technique and 86 respondents were obtained. The results of the study showed that the risk factors for breast cancer were the majority of age (> 50 years), 39 sufferers (68.4%), 36 sufferers (78.3%) at menarche < 12 years old, 42 sufferers (76.4%) had a history of using hormonal contraceptives (76.4%). family history of 37 sufferers (68.5%), parity of not having children as many as 22 sufferers (68.8%). Midwives are expected to be able to provide early breast cancer screening, both self-breast examination and clinical breast examination, especially those who have a family history of breast cancer.

Abstract

Sleep quality issues are a common complaint among pregnant mother, especially in the second and third trimesters, which can affect the health of both the mother and the fetus. This study aimed to determine the relationship between prenatal exercise and sleep quality in pregnant women in the working area of the Bandar Khalipah Public Health Center, Deli Serdang Regency. The research method used was quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 42 pregnant mother selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection instruments included a questionnaire distributed before and after the prenatal exercise program. The data were analyzed univariately and bivariately using the chi-square test. The results showed that the majority of respondents did not regularly perform prenatal exercise (69%) and had poor sleep quality (57.1%). The bivariate analysis results indicated a significant relationship between prenatal exercise and the sleep quality of pregnant mother (p=0.007). It can be concluded that prenatal exercise has a positive effect on improving the sleep quality of pregnant mother. Therefore, it is recommended that pregnant women regularly participate in prenatal exercise as a non-pharmacological effort to improve their sleep quality.

Abstract

Deteksi dini merupakan upaya pencegahan terhadap penyakit, salah satu ancaman penyakit kesehatan reproduksi perempuan adalah kanker serviks. Di Indonesia, sebanyak 36.633 kasus baru kanker serviks dengan 21.003 kematian, sebagian disebabkan oleh infeksi Human Papillomavirus (HPV).Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan buku saku IVA Test terhadap pengetahuan deteksi dini kanker serviks.Jenis penelitian kuantitatif metode quasi eksperimen menggunakan desain one group pre-test and post-test. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 183 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan rumus Slovin, sehingga diperoleh 65 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pengetahuan responden sebelum diberikan buku saku IVA Test adalah 56,92 dengan standar deviasi 9,830. Setelah diberikan buku saku IVA Test, rata-rata meningkat menjadi 88,08 dengan standar deviasi 6,829. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan deteksi dini kanker serviks pada pasangan usia subur nilai P = 0,000 < 0,05. Dengan demikian, penggunaan buku saku IVA Test dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan deteksi dini kanker serviks. Diharapkan pasangan usia subur dapat lebih aktif mencari informasi kesehatan reproduksi, mengenai deteksi dini kanker serviks.
